It started off with me being frozen, as if I was a statue, riding a horse. Kind of like the famous statue of the men holding up the American flag. Except, as I said, me riding a horse. Then, a giant tsunami washes over the statue, and it (or me, since I am part of the statue) is left intact.

I think at this point I "awaken" or come alive and start to walk. Dream seems to cut to a scene where a fox bites my (gf/??/whatever she is in my life) on the hand in a field in broad day light. It just runs up to her quickly and *chomp. I remember being shocked in the dream and saying "But she loves foxes" (which is true). I don't recall any reaction on her part.

Cut to a scene where I am trying to keep track of multiple foxes/dogs/similar creatures, perhaps to protect them. I think maybe a few of them were weak or injured. I think my gf/?? is helping me as well and is pictured carrying one (or maybe it was me, or both of us).

So, what is the deal with the statue? The water rushing over it and than a fox and gf...?

Thanks for any insight.

Does a fox symbolize some kind of cunning aspect I am not aware of? Deception? Need for cleverness? Why the statue and tsunami at the start?

No idea with the fox, but the tsunami/statue thing makes sense for you. I use the dreammoods dictionary because it usually works for my dreams but idk..

For the statue..
To dream that you are a statue, signifies that your true self is out of touch with reality.

Tsunami..
To see a tsunami in your dream, means that you are being overwhelmed by some repressed feeling or unconscious material that is rising up to the surface. You are experiencing some unhappiness and emotional instability in a waking situation.

Fox
To see a fox in your dream, represents insight, cleverness, cunningness and resourcefulness. Perhaps the dream is telling you that you need to exhibit more of these qualities in your waking life. Or that you need to conceal your thoughts and be more discrete about some situation. The fox may also symbolize someone in your waking life who is sly and sneaky. Alternatively, seeing a fox in your dream, indicates a period of isolation or loneliness. You need to take this time to ponder some issue or reflect upon your life. The dream could be a metaphor for someone who is a "fox", as in a foxy lady.

Bites
To see a bite in your dream, forewarns of danger from someone who wish you harm, either physical or financial. Be careful of people who surround you.

To dream that you are being bitten, represents your vulnerability regarding some unresolved issues or emotions. You may be pestered by a problem or obstacle. The dream may also be a metaphor indicating that you have bitten off more than you chew. Perhaps you have too much to handle.

Hold
To dream that you are holding something, suggests that you are trying to control or manipulate this object. Consider the significance and symbolism of this object. Holding may also signify protection, responsibility, or possession.

.......................

The thing that sticks out to me and makes sense for your situation is your girlfriend has transiting uranus conj her sun (I have this natally). She's struggling with different parts of herself that want to be alone or something. You might also ask what foxes symbolize to you or what they mean to your girlfriend. Maybe she likes being alone (foxes) which is normal for an aries, but it's out of control and hurting her now due to her relationship with you. It's out of control in the transit. It may also be related to some clever/resourcefulness that's biting her so to speak.

The whole statue surviving the tsunami makes sense given what I know you're going through.
