============================================I will share my story... One day I was cooking dinner, it was around 5pm.. I saw a shadow with the corner of my eye walk behind me...
I assumed it was my son, I turned to talk to him, but no one was there... I just shrugged it off, as my imagination. A week later I was home alone.. I was in the restroom.. I had the door open. I was looking through the door way.. I saw a tall dark shadow walk past.. I really really saw it... FULL on walking shadow... I just sat there for a bit..
I knew I saw something, but didnt make a big deal of it... Figuring it was a freak thing.... I knew it wasnt my imagination. I knew it was real... But I decided to just put it in the back of my head... Now.. about a week after that...
I was in bed asleep.. I woke up feeling someone was watching me.. I looked in the door way I saw a black shadow pass by the door... I Jumped up thinking someone was in the house... I turned on all the lights and went through the house... I saw no-one.. Or nothing disturbed..
I thought well maybe it was a dream.. A laid back down.. I closed my eyes again and then a bit later I got the same feeling someone was watching me.. I opened my eyes and the shadow was standing in the door way looking at me... I shook my head like ok get a grip.. I looked again and the shadow was gone... I fell back asleep, but then I had the deep feeling someone was watching me.. It was way worse now...
I opened my eyes in a panic! QUICK! With anger... I saw the shadow bending over me and looking at me.. I GOT PI$$ED!!! I started yelling and cussing and going off.. I was saying you are not welcome here! Go AWAY! Get the F-out.. How dare you watch me when I'm sleep... The day time is one thing. but this is not acceptable!!! I was yelling at the air like a fool... lol The shadow disappeared.. That was a few years ago... I have never seen it since... Now.. The impression I got from the few times that I saw it, was not evil.. It was more like another soul watching me..
Only I got really upset that it scared the heck out of me in the middle of the night..
So I yelled.. I never saw it again..

I see them in my house occasionally, but only when its really late & very quiet or when I am feeling really tired..They do NOT like to be seen by us, that is the impression I get from them..They used to scare me a bit at first,but now they don't as they seem quite limited to just flitting around. gasp! oh no that's sppoky. but it's probably right that they are harmless. i hope that they leave me alone for the rest of the time.  when i was a child, i had them surround all around me whenever i had a high fever, every time. i was scared to get sick because they'd come. looking back, i think it was just they getting worried and curious of the sick little girl. This is fascinating.I have heard radio shows on it.
One of my son's friends whom I know is NOT lying told me he saw the one with the hat who looked like Zorro 
I have never seen one but I think they are evil spirits vs good spirits cuz they make people feel bad.
They bring a creepy feel with them from the accounts I have heard.------------------

My ex used to see them every once in awhile as well. She said they were 5 distinct figures all with a different presence. She actually woke me up one night to ask if I could see them which I couldn't but I could feel the energy they were emitting. This happened on a few occasions but I never got a bad vibe from them. After the first time she told me she felt like they were her past relatives since she had a very strong connection with all of her female relatives on her fathers side. It was a very interesting experience since I don't normally get entities contacting/watching me but I could def feel the difference in the room. Idk if they all are like the ones she saw and I felt but I wouldn't be too afraid unless you can feel a bad vibe coming from them. I would guess it was just curious or worried about you Lioness. ------------------

I didnt really feel fear... Well I did, when I thought someone was in the house, but that went away when I realized no-one was.. I got really pi$$ed for watching me while I was asleep...
But when I saw it during the day I didnt feel fear.... I cant describe what I felt.... It was something like, being checked on...also a sort of "Ignore me, Im just passing through" Very hard to explain how I felt.. but I never felt fear nor evil... IP: Logged |

However feel free to engage them in conversation!
Often they bring messages you may want to hear.
Frankly, having had such encounters fairly non stop all my life to date;
I would feel very lonely and the world empty without their company.

I used to see shadow people as a kid, I guess starting at like age 2 or 3, they didn't creep me out or bug me, but I was curious. Now that I'm older they're not *just* random shadow people to me anymore, and they have a more distinct appearance (like, for whatever reason one of the shadow people is Princess Diana, but in the last year) but they always disappear if I look too hard or notice them too much. Like you get a glance or catch them in the corner of your eye, and when you look too much they vanish. My friend said they used to see them as a kid (her cousin who died when she was little came back as a shadow person and would always be in the bedroom with her, knitting, because she always knits) and still today. Well, theory has it they're people who died and cross the astral plane to visit (the veil between the living and dead is thinner than we think) or observe, or people from a alternate universe, or probably alien life forms (we're a tiny speck in a infinite universe, and some things will never be explained). I think they just observe, but sometimes they have a message they want to convey (they need to tell you something). It would also make sense to assume that some shadow people aren't here for good purposes (like, where you have light, you have darkness), like demons or evil spirits. If you tell them to go away, or give them too much "attention"...they go away. I have a couple of friends who see shadow people. I think since I started talking about all of my weird experiences, a lot of people I know have experienced the same or similar stuff.IP: Logged |

When I had a out of body experience while meditating when I was a kid, I would see the "shadow people." It would freak me out because I thought they were ghosts. Sometimes while going to sleep, my eyes half close, I would see figures standing close by. I don't feel like they're evil, but they freak me out. I can tell a difference between a shadow being vs. an angelic being. Angelic being I feel a sense of calm and love while a shadow being just freaks me out. I think there are shadow beings of different varieties--one with malice intent and one that doesn't.I'm curious about the red eyes. I never encounter that before...just dark shadow like the Grim Reaper shape. IP: Logged |

I wonder if these shadow beings are behind the whole "sleep paralysis" thing. I've woken up to one of these beings grabbing my neck, and another time a different one humping my leg. Not nice!! I make sure to never sleep on my back anymore. IP: Logged |

I was probably 8 or 9, at home, and I was going down this super long hallway in the place we lived. I had this feeling that someone was behind me, I turn and look and there was a tall shadowy figure. I ran screaming lol. My mom told me I was just seeing things, but I knew what I saw...

I used to see shadows at one of my previous jobs all the time, before I left the first time to move to my old college town for 6 months. They did not feel benign.I later heard that, I think it was three, dockworkers committed suicide in a short period. I don't recall if it was at the peak of me seeing the shadows, but I know near the end of my first time there, I felt like I needed to get out badly. Not certain if this is related to the shadow people, but I'll get into a certain mindset or "frequency" if you will, and see through my mind's eye for lack of a better term. What looks like a normal house to someone sometimes resembles something different when I tune in... like maybe I'll see the image of a crystal garden. At this job, when I tuned in... well... the visuals were more like the movie adaptation of Silent Hill... I only went back to that job out of desparation for money... that and the office functions had been moved to another nearby town at an office facility. (Although I later learned that the "mind's eye" state brought Silent Hill-like images for the entire business park... These days, the business park doesn't give me that feel, and it's unrelated to the old job site because the feel went away before I heard everyone else got laid off from there. I'm not sure if the "Shadow People" may be creating territories or what, but it was rather unsettling. On a side note, there were some eerie feels around the college town when I moved back there, but then again there had been ghost stories for years there. I may have seen shadow people there during my college career there too, though one time I saw a Light orb, not a dark one. A friend who identifies herself as Pagan advised me not to approach either Light or Dark orbs until I was sure which was which. IP: Logged |

I see shadows out of the corner of my eye occasionally.They'll be walking down my hallway. Sometimes it is just one, sometimes it will be one, and then another one right after. They don't seem malicious, and my cats don't react to them, so I kind of just leave them alone. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees them.IP: Logged |

I remember lurking and reading this topic. Well I had a shadow figure experience sometime in June. I was in the dinning room watching youtube videos til 4am I decide to put the lap top in the dinning room and charge it as I walk into the living room I see a shadow figure and by the stairs. I was startled when I walked in on it. I got a friendly vibe from it. Seemed about 5 foot 9. And was looking at me. !!!!!!!! I know I saw something that was not suppose to be there because I had to turn my head away and then look back for it not to be there anymore. I had to go into the living room smoke a cigarette, and give my self a pep talk. 'you are going to go in the living room! go up stairs and go to sleep!!!' IP: Logged |
