is it possible someone's presence can block your dreams?i have noticed that when my mother is around while m asleep or if m sleeping in her proximity, i Don't remember my dreams and my dreams do not make sense as they do while she isn't around. This doesn't happen when i have someone else there, like my grandmother or my brother, but only with my mother. any particular reason? IP: Logged |

They've done studies that people who sleep in the same bed tend to have similar dreams. Maybe that proximity extends to the same house etc. Maybe you guys aren't well in synch?IP: Logged |

happens when i sleep with her in her bed, and yes we are out of sync. so my observation is correct. mom actually blocks my dreams IP: Logged |

It could stem from childhood. Have you ever had nightmares and then slept with your mom? That comfort she provided that prevented the nightmares from returning is probably still working and blocking your dreams (or memory of them).IP: Logged |

no i never slept with mom in childhood.i did with my granny and i still miss those times when i cuddled with her.till i reached puberty i hardly slept one night ww/o my grandmom.but she doesn't live with us now, but i still prefer sleeping in her proximity when she visits us.it makes me peaceful. I don't like sleeping alone, it scares me since childhood. but with mom i don't have that thing, i actually put the extra pillow between me n her when we are on same bad IP: Logged |
