The name of this post caught my attention because there are some nights I have very vivid dreams, but there is one dream from high school I always think of.

It is a white room with four white almost pillars built into a round white table with high backed white chairs. There were maybe 7 - 10 people in white robes with what may have been a rope or something around the waist, tied like a monk with the ends hanging down. All but one sat in their chairs at the table or whatever it was (it was huge) and one stood in front of me and told me something. I can't remember what it was but I think he handed something to me. He was young, maybe brownish hair. I woke up after that.

I've had weird dreams before, but that one felt different and I've never been able to forget it. Sorry I had to write after reading the title. Thank you

I think it has something to do with the ajna chakra (the third eye). The dreamer's ajna chakra got activated. Hence the white colour. And because of the activation he/she felt soothed. Thats my 2 cents.

This reminded me of an experience which one of my acquaintances had as was told by his son. Once when he was sitting for pooja he saw white light emanating from the deity's picture. After he was through he told his son about it. Actually, what had happened was his third eye chakra had got activated and was emanating white light and not vice versa. He obviously felt very good after that experience. He said he was feeling very different like totally calm, above the mundane, something like that i don't exactly recollect now.
