A little bit of a background before I get into my dream is that I have been split up with my ex for quite sometime but do think about him often. This summer I took a new job in a different area of the country and ending up meeting someone that I ended up developing feelings for although nothing happened. Come to find out, that this new crush and I had several times in which our paths have crossed yet we never met, as I onced lived in the city that he is from and know some people that he knows. It turns out that last summer we were at the same party together, and I girl that I worked with last year...who also just happened to be at this party but before we worked together is someone that he use to date.

Pregnancy can be the birth of a new idea, or project. With your reliance on the girl, you could be looking to the past for support. This action is contrdictory somewhat to the pregnancy though, the pregnancy is the future and the new.

This could purely be an expression of the fact you seem torn between returning to a past relationship, or moving on into the future. The fact that your dominance over your ex in the dream is emphasised could hint at an imbalance in power between you.

So, two nights ago (just the night after the dream I originally posted about), I had another dream about my ex. In this one, he was living across the street from me and I was living with my friend and her husband. At first, we didn't talk to each other but were very aware of the others presence. I was going to school in the area and very happy and I was quite sure that he always noticed me coming and going as I walked to and from class. Finally one day, as I was coming home, he walked across the street, a little bit dressed up for him and asked me if I wanted to go for a beer. My response was if he wanted to go right now and it was. He looked so happy, so I told him to give me 20 minutes and I would be ready and told him that he looked good. We went to a bar that was a little bit more crowded than we would have liked but there I ended up running into 4 of my guy friends from high school, I was very excited to see them. One of the them that is married in real life told me that his wife is expecting a baby (so another dream with pregnancy in it somehow). So, my ex and I finally got to have our drink, in a crowded bar but we had a great time with each other and the dream ended with us making out...which was thrilling, exciting and very intense.
