Lately, I have been having dreams whose messages are basically quite literal. I mean there is nothing symbolic about them. I wake up to these messages. All this would be swell if it wasn't for the fact that the actual messages are not practical, i.e. realistic in terms of my life. It's like someone in my head is offering advice, which contradicts common sense. Almost like a message based on faith. WTF? I can't ignore these messages because they stay with me throughout the day and make me think. But once I engage rational mind, the messages are just losing their power because they are like impractical. Like a good friend who tells you to "eat your beans" when they know that you are allergic to beans... What's the point when the advice is so useless? What to do? And does anyone know what I'm talking about?thanks, Anongrl10 IP: Logged |

I'm trying to understand your question. Does the advice not make sense? Are they messages? Are they dreams or are you lucid? Is someone giving the advice/messages or is it a voice?------------------ quote: Remember, love can conquer the influences of the planets....It can even eliminate karma.

Hi Charm, Thanks for responding. The advice makes perfect sense. As I said in the example, it's like a friend advising you to "eat your beans". The advice is very literal and very concrete (like "eat your beans"). They are messages. And most of the times I'm in REM stage for those (the lucid ones feel different and are more metaphorical). Most of times it's like having a conversation with someone who is offering the advice. The problem is that I cannot follow the advice in real life. It's like in the example I gave: a friend who cares tells you something like "eat your beans" when they know that you are allergic to beans, therefore cannot follow their advice. Going through a Neptune transit and dreams have been very weird and persistent. I also am in the habit of solving problems during my dreams. I wake up with ideas. But when I wake up with "advice" it's just no good. LOL Anongrl10 IP: Logged |

Dreams with no symbolism? Interesting. ------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. They perform their cycles with the same mathematical precision, and they will continue to affect each thing on earth, including man, as long as the earth exists." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |

Update: it turns out the advice in that dream was actually some sort of premonition. Shortly after I had that dream, the eclipse hit my 10th house Sun and things have turned to the direction where the advice indicated! I'm still kind of spooked from the turn of events and have no clue where they will lead but I'm just following the light with no q's for a change! IP: Logged |
