i dreamt about a tornado last night. again. haven't had one of those dreams in a few months. but they have been a regular occurrence for the last couple of years.

this time i was at my childhood home. and i was in the front room and i could see a tornado coming straight for the house.

i warn my parents to get in the basement because its coming for real! and i feel it getting closer shaking the house and i start closing all of the doors around me and locking doors to make sure they don't get burst open. i grab my computer whch seemed to be the only thing i need to save...for work.

eventually we make it to the basement. but somehow the basement isn't really safe. the house shaking starts and the basement starts flooding but only in the laundry room. i guess the sump pump stopped working and sewer water and feces begin filling the laundry room.

my mom goes in there and i'm wanting to warn her that there are feces all over just spewing from the ground. at first i remembered that basement being finished and waterproofed, but apparently not.

my mom goes in there anyway and doesn't even lift her pants to keep the dirty water from ruining them. i am not quite sure what she is looking at but soon boxes of some sort that are on the ceiling beging to rattle and drip water.

i know that they are about to burst open from being floodedwith water and fall on my mom. i yell to warn her but she doesn't hear me. i think she makes it out in time.

we go upstairs and the storm has passed. the sun is back out. the only noticeable damage is that there is a small square of space where the support for the kitchen floor has collapsed. right where the ceiling fell in the basment.

i started looking for a piece of wood like a 2x4 or 4x6 to put across it so that no one would walk across and fall through.

The Hindus believe in Shiva The Great Destroyer--not as a bad deity--because you have to destroy the old to make way for the new. A tornado to me indicates breaking the ground for something new. Especially in your dream where no one was hurt and the sun came back out before you woke up. Using the board might further indicate the building aspect of something new.

That sounds like a Plutonian lesson. Destroying everything in order to build something brand new from the basics/the foundation.

Really quick...I don't have time to read everything here, but i've had hurricane on land dreams...I believe it is the intellect obsessed with something....as air represents thought and logic, logos....so the air is storming something....or if it's toppling buildings on land, maybe it's storming your practical nature...maybe you are thinking too hard about....whatever is in the eye of the storm...the center is the cause...dreams are irrational, so the cause of the air must be what is at the center......maybe you are focused too much on that...analyzing it in a circular fashion which takes down your stability...or on water, maybe it stirs your emotions...and sinks your ships...

Randall, thank you.

I read your comment. That is genius. When I had a tornado dream it lifted one of two bull statues...and the statue was thrown through a wall nailing a woman dressed in fine clothes in the head and knocking her out....

Soon after I chose a profession that was less lucrative in my eyes, but more along my lines....hence the bull of illusion and luxury was removed purging my anima.,..and the bull of work remained, for the new adventure...
