Yesterday I had this dream....It was a celebration and felt like a family gathering. The atmosphere was nice and beautiful. After the gathering ended and most people had left I was talking to my nanny/maid from childhood who still works for the family but with my uncle because I or my family no longer live in the dominican republic. It was nice seeing her in the dream and I will see her in late dec or early january when I visit dominican republic with hubby. After talking with her I saw a beautiful bear and the wind was making his/her hair move and it looked like it was howling but there was no sound coming out, just the motion of howling. Then I see hubby and I let him know about the bear and then I believe my alaskan malamute gets close to the bear or friendly wolf like dog. hubby and I kept our distance but neither ever felt in danger and I enjoyed having the chance to look at bear because it looked so real in the dream like I was really seeing a bear in person.

What do you think????

Was anyone in your deam passed away in real life? Or has anyone passed away recently?

To be honest only my nanny and hubby stuck out in the dream but I can sense that there were other family members in the dream that I just can't remember clearly. I am heading back to hubby tomorrow and for two weeks have been with family...perhaps these two weeks I have been hibernating like a bear and engaging in a lot of introspection and now feel revitalized and ready to reunite with hubby and that is what the bear is about...rebirth of relationship after hibernation....hubby and I are going to go to DR and he and I will be spending time with my family there hence that sense of celebration in the dream. The dog symbolizing loyalty. I have been brainstorming about the dream the whole day and this is what I have come up with .

I have had family members passed but not in the last year...however my cousin has breast cancer right now.

Ok so husband and I went to the dominican republic as plan...the trip was a bit stressful specially for him but we did buy a puppy in the streets who ended up been sick and bc of this I will not be able to take her back with me to colorado just yet. Husband left back today to colorado and I am staying with puppy for a little longer and will probably then leave her with nanny who I will pay to take care of her until puppy gets better and then I will come back and get puppy.

Nanny and husband were the two most prominent parts of the dream as well as our dog in Colorado and a Bear.

Perhaps this dream is connected to that puppy it is JUST occurring to me right now. We got her the 5th of this month.

Bear

To see a bear in your dream, symbolizes independence, the cycle of life, death and renewal, and resurrection. You are undergoing a period of introspection and thinking. The dream may also be a pun on "bare". Perhaps you need to bare your soul and let everything out into the open.

To dream that you are being pursued or attacked by a bear, denotes aggression, overwhelming obstacles and competition. You may find yourself in a threatening situation.

To see a polar bear in your dream, signifies a reawakening. Alternatively, the polar bear symbolizes your frigid and cold emotions.

=============================

1. A motorcyclist purposely hit us while in the D.R and then pursued us aggressively to try to take money from us but we outsmarted him and his attempt to hurt us backfired. (This explains the presence of my dog in the dream (we were protected from the aggressor).

2. We purchased a puppy in the streets that ended up been sick. (death, rebirth, renewal, resurrection). We purchased her bc I felt an instant connection with her and bc our dog in colorado needs a friend to play with. Perhaps this is a good omen that you will overcome the sickness.

3. I had a talk with parents yesterday and was very honest and open about my relationship with husband and his difficulties dealing with conflict and disagreements in a healthy way.

4. The presence of my nanny in the dream is significant bc she is who will take care of this puppy after I leave back to Colorado and help resurrect it.

I suppose the bear symbolizes the different things that have gone on in this trip!

A week after I came back my aunt found out she has lung cancer and I did spent significant time with her in the trip and felt I got to get know her more in depth and understand her.

Also the puppy I bought in the D.R is a chow chow which looks like a cross of a lion and bear and my dog in the dream was been friendly to the bear in my dream and playing around. I bought the puppy bc I want my dog to have a friend to play with but the puppy ended up been sick so I had to pay someone to take care of her and will pick her up or have her shipped to us once she the vet thinks she is good enough to the travel documents.
