Last night I realized that I was seeing the same dream over and over as if it was in repeat mode!! The last "viewing" lasted till the morning when I was interrupted (didn't wake up willfully). I can't recall everything about the whole dream but it was a real long "movie". The scene that I do remember was me and two more people in a very small car. A guy in the car with us was holding a gun and yelling at us, especially at me for not doing what he wanted me to do. I remember him threatening me that he will shoot if I don't do it. I was not terrified or afraid and it didn't feel like a nightmare which is weird given that I was under the gun! It just felt inconvenient to be in this super tiny car and him yelling at me like that. LOL Any ideas welcome! IP: Logged |

it sounds like in real life, you are feeling stuck in a situation you don't like, and wanting to get out but can't. literally "stuck in a nightmare". maybe you were not scared because you are feeling that nothing is ever changing and it's become a mundane for you? you may even be feeling that the whole situation is like a big joke.IP: Logged |

Hmm, stuck in the tiny car yes, but how about the gun and the threat by the man? LOL Who the hell was it? He looked like a handsome man, blonde blue-eyes. It was weird that although I was at gunpoint, I could give a f** about him and his threats. LOLIP: Logged |

hmm, did he remind you of someone? he could also be representing someTHING not necessarily someONE. also guns often represent power. maybe a situation (or a person) wants to have a power over you, but you know it/he cannot, so you're not really afraid? it's just more a nuisance for you than a threat.IP: Logged |

Thank you. I have to think about it because although not immediately recognizable, he DID look familiar... He could be a symbol... In a sense, the fact that I was seeing this over and over, makes it less of a nightmare. So, I suspect it might have been truly scary in prior "viewings" which -thankfully- I have no recollection about. But last night, I caught myself playing this "tape" over and over and the one where I was feeling OK even with the gun pointing at me, was probably the more recent "viewing" where I managed to "deal" with my fear. Thanks a lot for the food for thought. It helps me a lot to have a sounding board. {{hugs}} IP: Logged |

Thanks! I wish I could "hear" what this guy was telling me to do! LOL Perhaps if I did it, he would leave me alone. No recollection of seeing this dream again last night but I think I was already over it when I woke up yesterday morning. We'll see!
