Well, that was a VERY strange dream and I doubt I've seen something like that before!! I was pregnant with twins!! The whole dream was me in the delivery room at a hospital. I gave birth to the first of the twins with no pain and no trouble at all, but then I had to wait for HOURS for the second of the twins to come out! LOL I woke up before i delivered the second baby! There was a lot of speculation about the delay of the second labor and me meeting nurses and doctors who sounded so neglectful of my case. I remember that I feared that the second one was dead inside me and some discussion about the process of cutting the birth cord and how to cut it so as one baby lives (the first one)... IP: Logged |

PS: I have never been pregnant let alone experienced giving birth! I had no reason to think of pregnancy as it's not in my mind at all neither is among my current goals in life. That was an extremely weird dream for me! LOL IP: Logged |

Edit: two more things about this dream. 1) The first baby that was delivered successfully; I remember it was verrrrrrry small, like tiny!!! Mind you; in real life I have never seen freshly-delivered baby, like the minute is out of the womb! 2) About the second one, I had no pain that predicted the delivery and all doc's and nurses where puzzled. They tried to help me induce a labor but I was not having it. It was like I wasn't even pregnant! I was walking around asking the doc's and nurses about the second baby and why I can't give birth to it too. I had no pain, no sadness, just a bit of fear and a lot of speculation about the situation... Overall the feeling of the dream was positive. I would say even a WARM one! I was feeling 100% myself and very feminine. As if I was actually pregnant and enjoying this state of my body. I was feeling safe despite the weird circumstances. I didn't have anybody next to me; it was all about me. I didn't feel particularly supported by the doc's and nurses but they were still there trying to figure things out for me. IP: Logged |

PS: None of what I read on the Dream Moods site resonate. Like they say dreaming the birth of twins shows the opposite elements in your self, huh? I didn't see the sex of the babies, I hardly saw the babies themselves, but I felt the birth lol. Well, that's all very weird to me. Hope someone can help! Even if you think it's a remote idea, pls chime in; I just need a sounding board until I come up with something that "clicks". IP: Logged |

Perhaps you are about to birth a new idea, and you have two choices--one will be easier than the other, because the other will take longer to manifest. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Randall! I wish I could figure out which ideas these two are! It really seemed to be all about me as a woman. It wasn't a very abstract dream in that respect. I totally felt like pregnant and in labor (at least what I would imagine it feels like; vulnerable but excited and in anticipation of something wonderful and at the same time stunned and like feeling "complete" with the experience). Do I make any sense whatsoever? IP: Logged |

I am not an expert in dreams... but I feel that indeed this dream may symbolise two choices. The feelings you described about each 'labor' is exactly what you may experience in the near future. Since there were many intense and feminine feelings related to this - it may as well mean that these choices will have to do with 'something' of an emotional nature. Could be even about two men in your life at that specific time... ??? IP: Logged |

Oh! Yes, this rings a bell! Goodness. Interesting........ The first delivery was quick, painfree and the baby was tiny. The second gave me a lot to worry about and it never got delivered. LOL yeah sounds like my love life at the moment!! Venia, I think you're onto something! I'll let u know if something clicks in my near future. I do have some developments... Thanks!

My pleasure! As I said, I have no idea how to interpret dreams - BUT some dreams just help me FEEL the symbolism. Your dream is definitely symbolic with a hidden message, let us know if something happens that resonates! IP: Logged |
