I've been noticing mixed reviews online about sleeping with an amethyst under a your pillow/under bed. One sight a lady talked about sleeping with one under her bed "I had really awful nightmares. Put an amethyst under your pillow to bring about pleasant dreams" http://crystal-cure.com/amethyst.html So it made me decide well why don't I test this theory its self. I grabbed my amethyst rock out of my purse was about to turn off the tv. Aqua teen hunger force was on. Yes a funny cartoon tv show freaked me out. There was a demonic monster. Who wore a severed foot necklace. Near the end of the show he was reading a story to his demonic monster children. And then he said something like now put your foot(a severed human foot) UNDER YOUR PILLOW. (woh...it was just too ironic!) And then he said something like happy halloween. Then they got a close up of his face...and he said something that freaked me out. idr what is what...but to me it came across as I'm coming to get you! It was too much of a coincidence for me...and after that I was like hell no I am not sleeping with an amethyst under my pillow.
lol I just thought I'd share my wired experience with you. I felt like that was a sign not to. IP: Logged |

ive slept with an amethyst under my pillow, and placed on my 3rd eye. no problems here...
(i did notice a slight sedative effect when i slept with it on my 3rd eye at first, or if i havent done that in a while)IP: Logged |

Thanks mercuranian, I enjoy hearing about other people's experiences. I use to sleep with one under my bed years ago nothing to wack seemed to happen. I've been pretty good about going to bed at a decent time. I take my amethyst necklace off before I sleep. (my skin is sensitive and usually break out if I sleep with a necklace on) and let them charge in the moonlight on my window sill. IP: Logged |

not sure where the negative stuff about amethyist is coming from but it isnt true,i keep one in my pocket while i sleep and it makes me feel protectedIP: Logged |

Wow, this is interesting.The only amethyst I have is a big rock, like half an egg. So....I can't sleep with it. I've never heard of any of the this before. But I instinctively set out all my prettiest rocks, crystals, and seashells by my bed years ago. Not that I know what the crystals do except my garnet which is supposed to even out my spinal energy.
