Topic: Why would I dream of him? What does he want to say?

We broke up and havent spoken since. I dreamt that I went to a place unfamiliar to both of us to pick up my stuff. He was there but didnt come out to see me and remained in another room. After I left I passed a funfair and decided to take a ride on something like a cable car. He comes up to me, holds on to my cable car and tells me " I'm an atheist, I am now married. I know that none of this is true. Then he leaves to go and says to me as he turns around " I love you" I dont know what to make of it. Since none of his other statemsnts in the dream is true, should I take the statement that he loves me to be false as well? There is unfinished business between us...is this symptomatic of that? What was the reason you broke up? Did you have trust issues with him? like not believing him or being insecure? In the dream he says "I know that none of this is true?"..
The dream makes me think that you have a hard time believing he loves you. So in the dream, he says 2 things that aren't true, and says the last thing I love you, because maybe you only believe things with pessimism. So maybe in the dream he is showing you, that for him to tell you the truth, he has to lie, because maybe it was hard to get thru to you emotionally. He can only say I love you after saying 2 things that arent true..it makes me feel/think blockages. Some sort of emotional deception internally.Does any of that make sense? IP: Logged |

Hi Birdy we both have trust issues. And we broke up because of that. We have no communication at all but I feel deeply connected to him still. The statement " I know none of this is true" is my take on the dream, he didnt say it in the dream. Quite right, I have always been pessimistic about us. And its too late now to fix things. I think he may really, truly hate me now. Do you think he thinks of me, and this is why I dream of him? Do you think that he may still love me? Or is this simply what I want and not what he actually feels? Thanks birdy for your insights... IP: Logged |

No I do not think he thinks of you to be honest. I feel this dream is more of you coming to grips of what happened in your last relationship so you can completely clean slate for the new person in your life. Learning from the mistakes from that situation so you can apply it to the next relationship. He is walking away from you in the dream, not walking towards you. I think in a way the dream is showing you, he's moved on even if he might still have emotional residue from the relationship. He said 2 lies, and said I loved you while walking away, there is a chance he has moved on but hasnt completely healed from the experience.
Maybe write him a letter saying how you feel and then tearing it up might help. Talk to him spiritually and try to say sorry. Sometimes the message does get delivered.

I personally wouldn't read too much into it especially since Mercury just left rx and Mars is still retro. I do think the dream shows he feels the residue from the experience of the relationship. Of course this is just my opinion. That is cool though you had a dream, then he emailed you. How long ago did you guys break up?IP: Logged |
