Hi AllWas dreaming last night that I was sleeping in a room with my colleagues (one of them was watching tv) and disturbing my attempts to sleep. There was a little blonde girl on the dream, trying to type a password into an ipad. Next thing I know, (I felt in the middle of deep sleep and aware of consciousness, like underwater slightly) and the little girl got into the bed with and I felt this touching on my back, like tapping. It woke me literally out of my dream! I felt like someone had been there. Was I visited or was the dream just feeling very real? Sparkling IP: Logged |

No, I didn't see it. The screen was not in my exact vision. Is someone trying to tell me something? It felt very spooky, I was so shaken up I got out of bed at 4am and walked around for a bit. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Sounds scary, indeed. I've had dreams like that, where the sensations literally woke me up! When we are in dream mode, our brains light up in the same responsive ways that they do when we are awake. In other words, the signals sent from our dreams to our sensory processing centers in the brain are received the same way as signals sent from the physical world. The thing I've noticed, in my experience, is that the more emotionally charged a dream is, the more real it feels. That might just be me, but it seems to be true for some other people too. In any case, you have something trying to get your attention. I think the little girl is tapping you, because YOU ARE the "password." It was a tap on the back, which might indicate you need to explore issues from your past, you need to "go back" and deal with them, in order to make progress in the situation you're currently in. Any gut-reaction feeling for how old the girl was?IP: Logged |

Hi JoyThank you very much for your interesting response! The girl seemed 4 or 5 to me, a younger version of me perhaps. Since this dream I have been to canada to visit my sister who is ill with early stages of breast cancer. She took me to see her healer and she did some meditation on me and worked on past issues. The age of 4 came up and lots of memories there which I had no idea I had kept. I am intuitive so the dream I had previously perhaps an inidicator it was time to deal with some things. It did scare me though but your explanation makes sense. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Hi Sparkling, Another question: Your colleagues in the dream. Did you get a feel for who they were? Do you know them in waking life? What are their personalities like? ------------------ I can help you figure out your dreams, and guide you in how to use them to transform your life. www.sleepingrealities.com Follow me on Facebook! facebook.com/sleepingrealities Follow my blog! http://sleepingrealities.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Hi JoyYes I knew all the colleagues in the dream. One in particular was watching tv and keeping me awake, in real life we do not connect all that well. I am a team player but she is a lone wolf type employee. Sparkling IP: Logged |

When we dream about waking up, it often symbolizes starting to become more aware of something. It;s like the expression, "wake up and smell the coffee," you know? Something is fairly obvious, but you are shutting it out. (You have locked the ipod with a password! ) You are resisting this awareness, trying to stay in your sleep, but a few things are nagging at you, preventing you from fully tuning this issue out. First, there's the colleague you don't really get along with. The energy you get from her is a disapproval of her insistence on being a "lone wolf," rather than being a team player. I think there is something in you that is wanting to be more of a lone wolf in certain areas--being able to have your clear boundaries on yourself, not always just give in to what the crowd is doing-- but you feel threatened by that. You don't connect well with that energy.Everything in life is about balance. Being a team player is a WONDERFUL quality to have! But, as you probably know, sometimes it can go too far, and you merge with the collective, rather than being courageous about your own self. Everyone needs to find that balance in life, and that's one issue that has come up for you in the days around the time of the dream. Interesting that you had the experience of going to a healer and seeing that you needed to heal some memories from when you were 4 years old. How amazing! Did these memories have anything to do with you learning that you have to be a "team player," you have to please other people, be part of the crowd, by chance? ------------------ I can help you figure out your dreams, and guide you in how to use them to transform your life. www.sleepingrealities.com Follow me on Facebook! facebook.com/sleepingrealities Follow my blog! http://sleepingrealities.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Hi JoyThe memories fropm 4 were of feeling alone (had a sister who was 7 years older) and parents who worked alot. I had on clue I had held onto anything from that young but seems so. Have felt much lighter and happier since I let go of some of those old triggers. Sparkling IP: Logged |
