I'm curious about what do they really mean!

Most often I dream about flying in the air, sometimes with a leash on my leg...

I also dreamed for a few times when I was in a hot air balloon with my grandma, aunt and uncle - all of these dreams happening at their house (they live together).
Once we were falling down, there was another time when I managed to "save" the moment and our lives, and once a tornado came and threw the balloon to their house...

I also fell in my dreams for a few times! And everytime I was travelling with a bus full of people I know! The direction was UP on the mountains, but the tyres somehow slipped and we fell down to the endless abyss!

These "falling" dreams had so much in common, even at the end when I felt completely lost in the abyss, and then I woke up and felt I "landed" in my bed! Like my body in my dream fell back to my body in the bed...

Hello Emsie

It seems to me that many of your flying and falling dreams are your conscious mind's interpretation of out-of-body travels you are experiencing unconsciously. Are you familiar with OBEs (Out-of-Body-Experience)?

But not all flying/falling dreams are OBE related. A flying dream can symbolize feelings of elation or freedom, can indicate a raised level of consciousness or spiritual energy, or reflect a new, heightened awarenes or perspective, among other meanings. Other happenings in the dreams can shed light on a more precise meaning.

Falling dreams can symbolize fear, anxiety, or loss of control, among other things. Again, other happenings in the dreams can help determine meaning.

Make any sense?

I heard before that flying can mean some kind of spiritual awakening, and I'm really interested in these kind of things, that's for sure!

Thank you for your reply! It's really instructive!
