On Tue, July 24, between 9 pm and 10 pm (your time) I had what I would call a "picking up on thoughts" dream.

First I saw you in what seemed to be a large cafeteria style room (it had a lot of small square tables, each with chairs). Actually it could also be a large classroom type of room (now that I think about it as I didn't see any food). There were several people there in that room.

You were at seated at one of the tables with some papers in your hand reading.

In the next scene, I see you in what appears to be a home environment (your home most likely). You're on the phone having an intense conversation with a woman (don't know how I knew that the person at the other end was a woman--I just did). You seemed to be telling her about some of your ideas that had to do with a particular project (?) you had in mind.

In the next scene, you're back again in that classroom/cafeteria, except that this time I'm also there with you at one of the tables. You show me what appears to be a writing sample you've written, which appears to have been printed/published as a column in some magazine or journal.

As I look at what you're showing me, I immediately get the sense (dunno how--but it's a sort of a knowingness) that you want to write a book. Wordlessly I let you know that writing a book will be a good idea, in that that it will be successful.

He seemed good looking--clean shaven and well dressed, actually dressed formally in a suit. He had dark, well groomed hair (well, I always knew you had good taste JUST KIDDING!!)

He could also be someone you know and therefore was on your mind

Some of them are literal while others are symbolic. Most cases you have a feel for which is literal or symbolic. There are occassions when the two are mixed which makes interpretation a tad confusing.

Even now my posting is in between so much stuff as to be sometimes quite sporadic. But I'm glad we connected here on this thread.

You're quite right about this. In my case I do get a feel almost all the time about which is which and almost immediately understand the symbolism. For example, there's some symbolism in the above dream I had about Ceri too, and I can recognize that.

The times I do get a bit confused are when I'm myself experiencing (in my dream) the exact same emotions as the person who's going through a particular experience, for example the emotions of worry, anxiety, or fear related to their situation.

Then I wake up disoriented because for the life of me I cannot initially make the connection with why I was experiencing the particular feelings in my dream.

After thinking about it for a bit though it usually hits me like a flash. Then I get it.

But you're right about how sometimes when literal is combined with symbolic it can be a bit confusing.

You know, Charmaine, I learned so much about the classification of my dreams from my "iQ dream thread." So much of what everyone shared was new for me. Whereas earlier I used to lump all my dreams in one category, I now understand the difference between astral realms, 4th dimension dreams, awareness of my Higher Self in my dreams, the basis of my being able to pick up on others' thoughts as being my brain's "roaming antennae" tuning into different frequencies, etc.

And at the bottom of it all, I think we (each one of us) can be a channel for the good energies of the Universe to flow through us if we leave ourselves open, because ultimately the Universe has no other wish than to bring our deepest desires to fruition.

So it's all good!!

IQ is awesome as well as many others. That's what we are here for! To expand our knowledge and also share what we know. It's great that you are aquiring knowledge assisting you with your dream interpretations. It's like a whole new world so to speak.

Feeling the emotions of others can be tricky. Some are not shaken off immediately after awaking and then you may confuse it as your own, especially when you don't remember the dream and wonder why the heck you feel that way.

Jeez, we're so taking over a thread meant for Ceri. Going to bow out.. for now..
