a few nights ago i had a weird and quite frightening dream. i had caught a disease that caused deformation in my face. i looked in the mirror and saw that the iris of one of my eyes is much bigger than the other. And the scarier thing was when i opened my mouth a scary piece of flesh was hanging above my two front teeth. Like it grew out of my gums, but i was able to rub it off with my hands, it dissolved like dust.. i then went to the doctor who looked amazed a my condition and said that it wasn't fatal but the symptoms will reoccur.. i woke up then so startled that the first thing i did was run my finger over my teeth just to be sure...

and two nights ago i dreamt that my mother bore me a sister.. A little angelic babe i was so content i held her throughout the dream thinking what to name her. The names Lee (???) and sally were the 2 we were choosing.. Sally makes sense since my mom wanted to name me sally, but Lee?! is that even a girl's name, i dunno anyone with that name..

The disease and deformation part could be deterioration of something showing you that this part of you is meant to go. And the birth could be transformation/birth of a new part of yourself. Like an angel. A betterment in your persona regarding something. That name part i am not getting actually. But it could be that your higher self (mother) is choosing and so are you, an identity of which you two are partly aware (Sally) and partly its totally new (Lee) which you have never heard of. Just my two cents.

Yes changes can be difficult to fathom specially if they are subjective. I too underwent a lot of changes but couldn't put my finger on it. Of late i am beginning to understand a couple of them.

Hello Venus

I love what Love&Light wrote about the baby sister dream. It makes perfect sense, as if that dream is conveying to you that a new aspect of yourself is going to emerge, part of which you are not at all familiar with. It could be that the frightening dream is providing a little more information as to how or why the emergence is to come about.

It is indicated that you are not at ease with yourself in some way (disease) and that there is some sort of imperfection or flaw in your persona, the outer you, the way you present yourself to others (face deformation). Because of this, there is a need for self-reflection (look at self in mirror). It could be suggested that you need to widen your point of view or to use more of your intuition, or to look inside of yourself (iris). It could also be suggested that there is some problem with communication or with the way you speak, to yourself or others (flesh hanging in mouth). Your dream is telling you that you may be able to temporarily by-pass/ignore/alleviate the problem, but unless you truly understand and recognize it, the problem will persist (symptoms will reoccur).

If we pair the two dreams together, it appears that you must look closely and truthfully at yourself and how you are relating to others in order to figure out what to change so that the new aspect of yourself may emerge more easily. Or perhaps the emergence of this aspect is going to cause you to change/widen your perspective and your outward persona, and the dream is forewarning you of the possible difficulty in doing so.

Does any part of this make any sense? What do you think?

Walk in Peace

Thank you Ra.

It's true i have been unsatisfied with myself lately, but i'm still not sure why. I don't know what part of me to change, and to what.

As your dream indicated, you may not be fully aware of what it is, which certainly makes it difficult to see. Continue with the self-reflection, meditate on it. These dreams were pointing in a direction ... perhaps another dream can provide you with more information. We would love to hear any dreams you have so as to track this progress.

Thank you for sharing your dreams.
