Hello Maddie
Aren't young people like yourself always in a state of hormonal imbalance?
But seriously, I do think there is some meaning here, but it seems to be of a sub/unconscious nature, so it may be difficult to recognize.
The first portion, about being in the past, lets us know that the issue being pointed out by the dream is somehow rooted in the past. This could mean some family related issue or pattern imprinted on you from your early years, something more in the recent past, or even something rooted in a past life. Whichever the case, it is linked to the guys that keep appearing in your dreams. This dream is more specific, using the impression of your best guy friend. It is likely that he represents some aspect of yourself which is similar to the situation concerning him. Is it possible that you have a crush on someone who does not return the feeling?
The dream suggests hidden/unconscious emotional energy (underground canals) concerning a situation or relationship (kept making out). It also suggests that there is a lesson (teacher) you need to incorporate (eating/kitchen), perhaps concerning a relationship or situation you are close to but not fully involved with (neighbor's house). Or it could suggest that there is a new path to learn about (teacher) which will entail a transformation in yourself (eating/kitchen).
The girl you know from school who keeps appearing in your dreams is a reflection of your own "unpleasant" nature and perhaps suggests that part of your lesson or transforming has to do with resistance (don't need to follow rules), or being less resistant to the lessons or energies emanating from your unconscious, many of which present themselves in your everyday life by the way you interact with others.
So there is a need to be less insisting and resisting and more accepting and contemplative.
Does any of this make sense to you?
Walk in Peace
