I recently went to a book sale and bought a book on Lucid Dreaming. I've been reading it, and it suggested recording (writing down) your dreams to begin to learn how to dream lucidly.I was wondering, has anybody done that? Recorded your dreams for better dream recall? For that matter has anyone ever had a dream in which they realized they were awake? IP: Logged |

Hello SaturnSent You will find that many here have experienced lucid dreaming in varying degrees. Recording your dreams is a very good way to enhance recall. You can start by simply using a few descriptive words or even drawing some simple images and as you progress, try increasing the amount of detail. Good luck and have fun! IP: Logged |

Ra, Yes increasing detail would probably help. I noted earlier today I don't describe dream surroundings as much as dream content. I should work on that to perhaps recognize when I am indeed dreaming. Thanks for the welcome Randall. IP: Logged |

I've been recording and studying my dreams (and others) for about 25 years. Details are essential for the details are the symbols that tell the whole story. Every detail is very important.------------------ Truth & Integrity in all things. The Truth is the answer to everything. IP: Logged |
