woke up and the dream was disjointed ....i remember being in a car parked in front of the apartment building where I grew up till I was 10. I was with my mother and we were waiting in the dark to see her friend who was being sick and throwing up. I did not want to go into the building.

Then I was in a rock park, lots of high rocks that people climbed but I was stuck on a ledge and didn't know how to get down. It was awful!
I understand on some level, unwillingess on my part in real life to please my mum and relive 18 years of sorrow in our family (I have done this with my therapy this year so feel I have come to terms with it).

But am ready for a change, the greyish rocks,seem like I am on the edge of something. I was able to get down from the dream with some help from a male figure at the bottom of the rock.

A hopeful dream amongst seeming anxiety?

I think you understand this dream well. It is definitely "a hopeful dream amongst seeming anxiety". The rocks represent the various issues you have been working on and your progress in tackling them (climbing). These issues may raise fears/anxieties within you, but all will be well in the end with a bit of help. You are probably on the edge of overcoming inner difficulties through the growth you are experiencing.
