I'm standing in the middle of my bedroom with a man who's presumedly my boyfriend, and the lights are off. He's talking on the phone to his father and assuring him he's going to get him a large amount of money (thousands). In the next scene we are downstairs next to the staircase in my foyer. He's on the phone with his father but I've made a decision to protect my family and I began shouting "NO! I WILL NOT HELP YOU ROB MY FAMILY!!" on purpose hoping his father would hear it over the phone and that it ruins this man's plans. The man hangs up the phone and throws it at me, running into the kitchen. I'm holding a knife and I chased him for a second and then stood still. He appeared holding a knife as well, in which case we were in a stand off. Then I woke up.Things I noticed about this dream was... -it was yet again another violent one -how there were no lights on but the power wasn't out or anything. -the male/female aspect. -the knives, do I need to "cut" something? -that there was money involved. -That I woke up at 5:17. I wouldn't have mentioned this but I've been seeing the number "17" a LOT (also 417) lately, and here there's a thread on what the number 17 means. I saw 'whereabouts' definition of it of dishonor and shame, and it's applicable to my home life right now. What could this dream be about really? IP: Logged |

Hello hannaramaa I think this dream reflects some issue/situation relating to your family life. It appears that you have had enough and are ready to end the situation. You are willing to both act and defend - against what I do not know. It seems that in some way you are mentally/emotionally torn. A knife can indeed reflect "cutting" words, but in this case I think it represents your decision to make a stand, to make distinct the line you have drawn, and perhaps a need to "cut" this issue away from you. Is there some threat to your family's well-being from the outside? Are you feeling remorse or guilt for something you have done or considered doing? IP: Logged |

Actually yes there is! I don't know if you've seen (probably not because I don't recognize your screenname being frequent here on Lindaland...yet ) but I've been pretty open about my dad having an affair and losing his job, and moving back home. So a threat to the family's well-being is an understatement. Mentally and emotionally torn is right... I'm angry at my parents for putting me in the middle of their marital problems. I'm an only child so I guess there wasn't a way around it but yeah. I guess it's a pretty straightforward dream but it was one of those that freaked me out so much I woke up and was scared to go back to sleep for a little bit. IP: Logged |

I've been here in LindaLand for a very long time, but don't venture too far from Astral Realms because I just don't have the time, and I've been gone for a while. So, no, I was not aware of your family's situation. I'm sorry to hear about it, but it's good that you are open about it. IP: Logged |

I wasn't aware of the family situation either but I only venture into personal readings and astral realms, and just very recently have peeked into Astrology 2.0. Once I was in the Brown Owl School but don't go there.------------------ Truth & Integrity in all things.
