This afternoon I had a strange dream. I was in a bus station and there was a bench. Beneath the bench the ground was semi wet. On the ground there were cards spreaded all over the place. thinking that there were my tarot cards I panicked and I started to pick them up. While I was picking them I saw that there were no tarot cards but regular playing cards very colorful and with beautiful images. There were only the court cards. After a while I realized that in fact I couldnt pick any because they were multiplying themselves. I remember seeing the Jack of Clubs and the Jack of Hearts surrounded by the Queens and Kings of all kind. Then I saw three cards. They were white on background and with the Triple Moon sign on them in YELLOW.

I have no idea what is that suppose to mean.

Thank you!

What do you mean by Triple Moon?

Hello Rosalind

This is a very interesting dream indeed. I'm not sure of meaning at the moment and would like to give this one some extra time and thought. Be patient with me as I find the time to analyze it ... it is going to take a few days.

In the mean time ... any thoughts about this dream from anyone else? I would love to hear them as much as Rosalind would.

This is one of those short dreams that is absolutely steeped in symbology. As I look at the individual symbols and images, it becomes apparent that they are all interconnected on several levels, with a designed complexity that is easy to understand but difficult to express. It would take too long to describe every aspect of the interrelations I see, so instead let us take a look at some of the meanings of the symbols as well as some of my thoughts and perhaps much of the complexity will fall into place on its own as you see it all together.

Playing cards evolved from the Tarot deck. Is there something being said here about the evolution of your own spiritual/religious beliefs or psychic energies? Perhaps this is something unexpected, as in the dream you did not expect what you saw.

The cards were multiplying by themselves … perhaps suggesting that, after some sort of realization on your part (realized they were not Tarot but playing cards), the energy symbolized by the cards is going to grow within you.

There is something specifically symbolized by the Jack, but I don't know what it is. Any ideas about what the Jack represents? Besides that, the Jack of Clubs carries masculine energy (also death (black)), and the Jack of Hearts carries feminine energy (also life (red)). Life, death, feminine, masculine … this could suggest cyclic energy and perhaps balance or balancing. Queens and Kings also have specific meaning which I do not know, but besides that they also represent feminine and masculine energies raised to a high expression. This could be another indication of balancing, especially considering that they were surrounding the Jacks.

Three cards … three is a number representing active energies. It also represents completion or balance as it is the sum of one and two, masculine and feminine. Psychologically, it can symbolize the beginning of a particular mental/emotional work. Alchemically it is related to the process of individuation, the development of Self.

White … newness, awareness. Alchemically, new knowing.

Moon … usually a feminine symbol. Emotional energies. A full moon represents completion, a crescent moon suggests cyclic activity/energy or creative energy. The triple moon image presented to you in the dream also has the feeling of balance, simply from a visual standpoint.

Yellow … can have many meanings, but in the context of this dream the more positive ones seem appropriate. Yellow is associated with the Sun, a masculine symbol (oddly enough your yellow is with the moon), and with gold. It symbolizes transformation, consciousness, and alchemically is the final stage of transformation.

So we have all of these rich symbols stacked on top of each other. What I mean is, each symbol has multiple meanings, and each meaning is represented within multiple symbols. This produces a complexity of interconnection which tells me that this dream is more than just some simple self-reflection. As with all dreams, it is written in the language of the unconscious, but this dream contains far less subconscious "static" than is usual.

Transformation/evolution, development, balancing of opposing energies, awareness, completion … Rosalind, you are either in the midst of, or soon to be entering into, a real transformation of your inner self. This will likely include other changes as a result, such as your abilities/skills and/or aspects of your outer life. Can you see it?

What do you think?

Walk in Peace

I think Ra is very insightful here, and I would like to add you are coming into an inheritance in terms of knowledge, I would say you probably have an astrological lineup currently/pending as well by transit at least, and I would hazard a guess that pluto and jupiter are aspecting your moon by transit and that you already have natal aspects in place probably involving venus/neptune/saturn to your moon/mars combo. Is your moon between say 5*- 11*.

There are other influences and I think they are Desdemona, Kassandra, and one of the Liliths. You would probably find that when Jupiter makes its last transit to 8* Gemini then this will be a significant time. Around the 1st of March 2013 will be about right as this is when I feel that Desdemona, Kassandra and Jupiter are on the similar degree (different signs) and will be influencing particularly your Moon but some of your other inner planets too.

I saw the name Cassandra instead of with the K, but I am certain it is one and the same for this influence coming to you.

I didn't realize that the Liliths is tied in with that triple moon goddess stuff.

Secondly, I also got the word 'Regis' thrown in when I was getting the other asteroids. Well there is no Regis, in the asteroid list but I feel that Regiomontanus is significant. Regiomontanus, had another name, but he is credited with his own house sytem as he was an astrologer among other things. Regis means royal, and Regiomontanus was a royal astrologer. I can't ascertain what the Regiomontanus significance is but I think it has to do with horary charts. I read in one of the posts that you don't like horary, or that you said it doesn't work with you. There is something to be delved into with the horary thing here for you.

I forgot this dream belonged to you. Maybe this change/transformation is related to the changes we speculated about in the palm tree dream.

Maybe the change from your fear of losing your tarot card readings (your destiny),to a clear playful deck of cards, that keeps multiplying (adding onto your destiny).. where the center of your focus then rests on the triple moon. Which, I don't know anything about, but it looks like balance to me. Maybe there is a tranformation you are deciding to take on in your soul's goals. The tranformation from one sign, to the balance of ALL.

Triple moon symbolism relates to the three phases of women: maiden (crescent/waxing ), mother (full), and crone (waning). Perhaps the symbol is directing your attention to a period of transformation in your life.
