I remember the directional sign of "North" being mentioned constantly throughout my dream. There was windy weather and when I looked up at the sky there was a small to medium palm tree flying high in the air.

But there wasn't really a storm. There was a wind gust, but the sun was out and the skies were blue with fluffy white clouds (beautiful and very bright and sunny).

The only thing flying was that palm tree, while the other palm trees were just swaying while rooted on the ground.

(Meanwhile in real life..)

A few days later I went to the appointment I booked 2 weeks prior with the Tarot/Psychic. He told me my crushe's name..I was confused and shocked because I wasn't really expecting that since I learned to just move on from him once and for all.

He also suggested I purchase a spiritual bath and funny enough the goddess he assigned to me was the wind goddess (remember the wind in my dream). I had a flashback of my dream while he was telling me about her. I have never heard about her before.

The meaning of this dream is not coming to me easily. The main symbols have kind of vague and varied meanings, and I can't quite get a feel for the common thread. Before I make some guesses, how about a couple more questions ...

Do palm trees mean anything in particular to you? If not, what do you associate with them? I have the feeling that they represent yourself in some way, but can't quite put a finger on it.

How were you feeling in the dream? What sort of feelings were present while you watched the flying palm, and while you stood in the sun and wind?

What was said about the direction "north"? Any more information on that?

Okay yes there is a connection between me and palm trees. They remind me of my childhood because as a little girl I grew up in a Caribbean island with my grandparents. There were obviously a lot of palm trees .

Also the sun and fluffy white clouds and deep blue skies as well. I used to always lay down and watch the clouds with my cousin pointing out odd shapes and what not lol. I loved living out there!

I was feeling happy in my dream once I saw the blue skies and fluffy white cloud, but the flying palm tree was kind of scary and I was just weirded out by that. But looking at the calm sky and bright sun made me feel that it wasn't such a devastating thing (the flying palm tree) so that calmed me down and made me not as worried about it.

I'm not sure what north means..hmm maybe because the flying palm tree was going towards the northern part of the place?
Wind brings changes and pretty fast ones, but this made me feel like necessary changes and the good kind..not bad changes .

I'm still not completely sure about the meaning of this dream, but it could be suggested that some aspect of the happiness and good life you experienced as a child is "blowing" into your present life situation as you are moving forward (north). Or perhaps there is some connection between your past and present which is becoming more apparent, something you are becoming more aware of (wind/north). Or maybe you were recently thinking about or reminiscing about your younger years and subconsciously remembering, from your childhood perspective, that you were moving North and about the changes (wind) that would come about. The dream could even suggest that some change is coming to your life (wind), into your awareness (north), and perhaps there will be a need to be flexible while remaining rooted (palm trees).

Do any of these possibilities strike a chord with you?
