I had a dream today in which i saw that a person who was very close to me once was on a parachute and was holding me. And we were gliding by and i see a ridged dome of some old fashioned sturdy building like the British last century buildings and am thinking of getting off on that. I would have to cling to it and would have no where to go if i were to get down on it. What intrigues me is the parachute part. What the *** was i doing there? What does it indicate please?

Edit: We were gliding by very slowly. The parachute appeared to be in no hurry.

is there an issue with a formal event and what to wear to it. Are you wondering what kind of dress you will wear and whether you will go for a traditionally english/european design/plain colour etc or whether you will go for something more vibrant.

oh ok, because I would even add that some of the symbology suggests questions over birth control, (an IUD or your cervix is part of the features) - and the formal event looks like weighing up what type of wedding you would have - and what type of wedding values you would have.

the dress in this that i refer to is tied in with values and expectations in terms of how you present yourself/conduct yourself in matters such as being a young woman/marriage/and reputation.

Can you pl elaborate on what symbology guided you to relate to birth control and wedding values. Just curious. Actually, birth control doesn't apply in my case unless it implies not being laid around as a natural form of it. And wedding values could be true but not just as i view it but also as i expect it from my would be partner. Thats interesting. Could be pl explain what symbols prompted you to say that or are you a psychic. I got this feeling that you could be.

The ridged dome in combination with other aspects of the dream suggested to me about your cervix and considerations for its vulnerability and consequently sort of swirling considerations of birth control - teed up with traditional values and expectations, and added to this you are considering in this dream other aspects of a union, like what kind of dress, and symbolically how you will represent yourself and what values you will hold to.

I don't see myself as a psychic, though I guess everyone is to some degree. I see that I am enabled to receive something presented to me. So when I read a dream as someone is telling it, I get a concurrent story being presented to me - and usually the symbols will match accepted dream symbolism to some extent.

I would say that this dream has to do with a person or situation in which you would like to "bail out", yet you have some anxiety or apprehension as to what would happen or fear that you "would have no where to go" if you did.

Are you "hanging on" to a person or situation you are not sure about?

Or is someone/thing "holding on" to you, taking you in a direction you are not sure about?

Bingo!! Yes indeed i am going through this. And i don't know whether to hold on or let go. As you know i am going through several choices in my life and am in a confused state. Trying to take calm decisions but just not able to SEE. Going through the moon phase . Anyways, this situation i had seen in my dreams couple of years back. So i am open to it but not sure whether i can trust the person completely. Its about spiritual journey and whether i should continue to team up with this person which would mean proper commitment and dedication in the future or step out. Our relationship has just begun. And i dont know where that could take me. I had a 'being taken care of' kind of feeling though (in the dream). Btw Ra, does a person on parachute mean help/rescue/support?

The meaning of a person on a parachute is dependent upon other dream elements. Help/rescue/support can definitely be indicated, as can the opposite. A "being taken care of" kind of feeling says a lot. You will have to determine if the parachute guy is a good thing or not by examining your feelings in the dream.

I understood this dream. I was being taken down i.e. landed very lovingly and little possessively by my guide/mentor and i was wondering whether i was to take an offer made by a person from a very traditional background and join him in some venture (the british building roof top). But what i couldn't see in the dream was where we were to land. Or whether i would jump on the building. I tried in real life to take the offer but couldn't as i realised that my landing is decided. I just have to wait to know the where. Thank You Ra !
