As I sleep, I take all I experience as truth. Regardless of how ridiculous it may seem. It is reality, in my eyes (at least in the moment). Lastnight I had a few dreams, but one that stood out was hiking with my boyfriend along the highway in another state.. We were stopped by a man yelling across his field stating he had amazing organic apples if we wanted to pick some. (Of course we did! and they were yummy sour green ones to boot)The man came up to talk about all of the land for sale around him. The corn had just been plowed down.. and we are highly against pesticides, and monsanto corn, so we were a little questioning. The man told us he knew we were in search of something specific, but this land was lush, and the corn planted here was organic (his own). He invited into his shop, where, for some reason, my boyfriend began working for him as if he always had. I walked around, looking at his things, and came across a cat, staring up at a little mouse. The mouse fell to the ground, hurt badly.. and the cat began to bite its' tail, and try to get away with it. I couldn't bare to see a living mouse, just mutilated like this, so I shooed the cat away, and the mouse was no longer hurt, but free to move and jump and be merry. Not sure if the mouse is a view of the man offering a place to go.. and the mouse escapes, as we would, the life we dread here. IP: Logged |

Hello LunaNight Interesting dream. The dream begins as a reflection of your desires, a change in your life situation to something better, more ideal. The man represents an opportunity for this ideal situation suggesting that your search for "something specific" could end right there, that he has what you want. But there is something unsettling about how he has to convince you that what he has is what you want. It could even be suggested that what you are led to believe is ideal will in actuality turn out to be more of the same (boyfriend works as if he always had). This idea is reinforced with the mouse scene. It could be that the mouse represents you and your boyfriend's situation and the cat represents the man in the above scene, or that which threatens your ideal. This could be taken as a warning to not fall into a trap as you search for what you seek. Things/people/situations are not always what they seem to be. How do you feel about this? Does this make any sense? IP: Logged |

Thank you for that.. It makes perfect sense. I have always been a very trusting person. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, a million times over.Even now, just accepting your reply, makes me somewhat skeptical. But it seems logical haha. My goals in life have been set, and I am 'awaiting' that moment to leap forward.. constantly being told that things need to be rationalized.. where as I feel life should be taken moment by moment. Go out, in the woods, get lost.. find your way. Not plan and plan, until you're finally ready, when you may die the next day, you know? Thanks again. =) Nice interpretation! IP: Logged | |
