I had a dream where I was on top of a van buying Xanax from a guy. (Anxiety?) Then I got off the van and started walking on a long neighborhood street when suddenly a dirty, pretty large white rat came from the left and stood in front of me. My feeling towards it was 'eeeek!' but then I saw that it was white and I kind of didn't have a problem with it.What does the white rat mean? I'm thinking fortune? I read somewhere it might be something spiritual or a new relationship.

Hello virgolotus  You are right, the dream could be suggesting that you are looking for relief from some anxiety (xanax). Rats have different symbolism depending upon your culture. Yes, in Asia they symbolize various good fortunes (wealth, luck, etc.). If this is the case for you, then perhaps the dream is suggesting that there is some sort of good fortune (white rat) "down the road" (long street) which may be first disguised as something unpleasant (dirty rat). So maybe you'll percieve something at first as being unpleasant but it will turn out to be something good. What do you think?  IP: Logged |
