I thought I might get a few days pause, but I still dream about various things...First, my teeth were rotten and pieces started to fall out from my mouth into my hands. (I heard it's a very common dream among people...) Then I asked someone - most probably a dentist - to make me dental crowns. The second dream was about me to marry someone - first my new classmate, then he transformed into one of my classmates from elementary school. We were in my grandma's garden. I remember there was a squirrel around and the boys were cracking some walnuts, I also ate one - mine was all chocolate inside and it was very delicious. Then the squirrel was chasing a cat on the other side of the fence, on the street... IP: Logged |

in my parents culture (Caribbean),dreams with rotten teeth signifies the death of someone very close to you. and how every time you have these types of dreams, you're suppose to tell someone else about the dream (idk why). Caribbean folks for the most part, are SOO superstitious by default. its like EVERYTHING to them has some correlation with spirits or saints/demons, or some other sh*t lol. so i don't really take it serious. i remember two instances where i had a dream that my gums were pulling back from my teeth, and then my teeth started crumbling into a sand-like texture.what's weird is that there was NO blood in that dream. i remember waking up panicking, touching my teeth to make sure they were all there lol. that's how vivid the dream was!. about a week and 5 days later exact, my childhood friend had passed away. and then on may 3rd 2009, i had another (this time PAINFUL) dream with teeth. in this dream my teeth were covered in puss and blood, and they each fell out of my mouth one by one into my hands. in the dream the pain was INSANE, to the the point i woke up with my entire mouth hurting (though the pain only lasted about an hour after waking up). i even went to the dentist the next day to see if there was something wrong going on with my teeth. and i explained to my dentist the dream i had, and the pain. but NOTHING was wrong with my teeth or gums 0_o. on may 6th 2009 (that same week), my grandfather died. i don't know exactly what to think about teeth dreams and the correlation with actual death. it just doesn't make sense. and sounds too extreme to be "true".. you can google, "dreams of rotten teeth", or "teeth dreams meaning" and you will find tons of info on this. I didn't feel any pain during this dream, they just simply fell, and there was no blood... Currently I think about a theory like: What if more blood and pain felt in the dream actually means the "same" in one's waking life? IP: Logged |

Hello Emsie Unless you already believed that losing teeth means death, I wouldn't worry about that. If it was already part of your belief system, then there would certainly be something to consider. Losing teeth often symbolizes a lack of confidence regarding a current issue/situation, but can also symbolize difficulty "breaking down"/assimilating/digesting certain information. It can symbolize transition/change as well. Whichever the case for you, the dream suggests that you are looking to fix/repair the problem. Either that, or you wish to cover up whatever is bothering you. The second dream has something to do with how your current relationships, or thoughts about them, are related to/connected with relationships from your past. It could be suggested that a portion of your sensual/sexual self (chocolate) has developed a protective "shell" around itself due to past relationship experience and perhaps you have hidden away this aspect of yourself (squirrel), reluctant to allow your intuitive self access (squirrel chases cat). There seems to be some internal conflict going on, and much of it on an unconscious level, so you may be hardly aware of it, if at all. IP: Logged |

Thank you Ra! You seem like very spot on again! The shell-thing is so true, indeed! IP: Logged | |
