Hello! I had a fairly interesting dream last night and I'm hoping that perhaps someone may be able to interpret it?

The dream that I had which really caught my attention was one where I step outside and a swarm of bees just swarm and cover my head. I was also wearing blonde braids (my hair is dark brown), they were braided weaves/extensions. My best friend is an African albino and she wears these braided extensions, so perhaps I was wearing hers? I freaked out internally, I tried to not really shake them off because I figured that they'd get more aggravated. Then after a while I kind of started brushing them off with my hand and told myself "who cares if they sting me, I'll be fine" but they never really stung me. Then I just kept walking around with the bees on my hair and after a while, the number of bees on my head kept decreasing. The last thing I remember was looking at my hair, realizing I had blond braids and trying to take off the remaining bees with my hand. It was weird too because they weren't doing anything, they just seemed to be stuck there. And then I woke up or so.

I tried looking up dream interpretations of bees online but a lot of them weren't very helpful.

Have you been the subject of gossip lately? To me, this dream is reflective of that. Don't fear the stings. As you thought in your dream, who cares? That's my take anyway.

Not that I know of. I usually just go to school, stay at home, and keep to myself. The only people that I open up to about more serious things are the two girls I live with, one of them being my best friend, and they're trustworthy. But yeah, I agree, if that were the case, I don't necessarily care because I know who I am.

lilyy, this is a super interesting dream and I'm so glad you posted it as I haven't experienced the situation in a dream before.

This dream is about a phenomena and I can not explain it properly.

There is a wedding/marriage/union element to it. But as I read I see that there is something ancestral in operation as well as metaphysical.

It is like your factors within you or within your 'fate' are being re-configured. I can not understand the complexity of it but it is a very powerful influence. It makes me wonder about many other things and I don't think I'm going to be able to determine or explain anything about it satisfactorily. It is like the explanation is not simple and it is like an influence over your very being that is based on many premises, and intercessions by the spirit world and other hierarchies.

Its like your karma, your genetic determinants your mind on different levels and your very being is getting tweaked. Are you involved in some occult stuff too perhaps? This is not the reason though, it is more so that the conditions have now given rise to an opportunity as far as some spirit/ancestral type influences are concerned. The influences are quite tribal but also at the same time span any age including future. They have beseeched on your and their behalf to other hierarchies and got the go ahead to change some circumstances to enable the meeting of someone and also that the circumstances would enable the right conditions for the birth of a special person being brought forward out of the ancestral banks. Could even be that other special persons will be then brought forward around that person too.

It was like you had a minute possibility, but through your own development, aptitudes and that extra umph somehow, your interests and sort of abilities etc kicked in and have sort of excited a timeline type of thing.

I wish I knew it exactly because I don't want to give any wrong impressions. I am always particularly interested in bee stories etc - have you heard the term 'telling the bees'. it is like also that you too were asking for a mate from a specific type of culture or with cultural traits and this desire has contributed to these spirit ancestor type influences interceding on yours and their behalf.

There is much to it.

On seeking out who the type of people these ancestral roots are about it was termed

hundas people

hundas, is from the verb hundir, according to Wiki and it means sink, engulf, ruin collapse, destroy, subside.

I'm thinking it was a lost and submerged people that had much cultural complexity. When I look to see if this is Atlantean stuff, I get the sensation that it is, however, even that doesn't really cover the whole gamut of what the people and their vibrational potentials and resonance were about.

I can't conclusively say that the 'hundas people' were a collapsed, sunken civilization because it is all a bit vague - maybe it is about some other people. I find these delvings are time consuming and exhausting - but excellent fun. I always have a dilemma with going on about stuff in case I have assumed, exaggerated or whatever, and also I don't like to negatively affect people.

It seems that the potential present will benefit you, and the person to be brought forth will generate the aquisition of a surname that is related to 'Rivett' or 'Reveter' or maybe 'Scriver' And the first name may well be 'Jongian' it is prompted, so perhaps it is contained within the type of first names used in Erica Jong's literary works.

Hello lilly

Randall, I love it when you chime in ... what you said would be my first response as well.

Lilly, I can't give you any psychic impressions as Chryseis has done (very cool), only possible meanings.

The dream suggests that something (whatever the bees symbolize) has "swarmed" your thinking or understanding (head), possibly having a connection with your best friend and her thoughts or her way of thinking (blonde braided extensions). This issue (symbolized by the bees) has the potential to inflict unwanted, unnecessary pain or discomfort (sting), but it is suggested that you have chosen not to "aggravate" the issue and decide to leave it be. In doing so you find that the issue dissipates with little effort or effect (brush off/ bees decrease). If the issue is not directly related to your best friend, then perhaps her hair/extensions represent the way in which she would handle or think about whatever the issue is, and the dream is suggesting that this is a good way to go about it.

The question is, what do the bees represent? There are many possibilities, but your dream provides a clue as to how to figure it out. You said that you "freaked out internally" … sometime soon before this dream, can you think of something to which you kind of "freaked out internally?" Some sort of news or gossip?

Bees can symbolize community, socialization, concerns about being too busy. I don't know your culture, but according to one of my books, in India they are associated with eroticism, in Egyptology with royalty, in Greek mythology and some other cultures with the soul/divine. They can also reflect identity issues ("to be or not to be"). Do any of these strike a chord, especially in connection with something you recently "freaked out internally" about?

What do you think?

The part about the issue being handled the way my best friend would have handled it does make sense, because she most likely would've advised me to not dwell on the issue so much and to let it dissipate. The only "drama" that I can think of is related to my ex-boyfriend. It's such a long and complicated story that I even get tired thinking about it. But I do remember that the night that I had that dream, I was on the phone with him for a long while and we ended up arguing. I remember feeling so angry and hurt because I felt like I had let myself be hurt by him again. For a while we hadn't really talked anymore and I was doing fine, and until a week ago, we started talking more often. He started talking sweet to me again, trying to be all loving, so I called him that night to figure out what the heck was going on. And he basically told me, "if you were thinking that my intention was to be in a relationship with you again, that's not the case, I just want to feel loved by being intimate with you" I was just like, seriously? well you haven't changed. That was kind of the gist of it, and then I cried a whole lot :/ And then I had that dream.

Also, to Chryseis, lately I have been more and more into astrology...I'm not sure if that counts as occult, I guess it kinda does to most people. And also, I have been trying to reconnect with Jesus Christ and God much more very recently. I've kinda have had a friend prophesize over me recently and I've also been trying to practice speaking and listening to the Holy Spirit. I guess you can say that I'm going through some important faith/spiritual reconfiguration. It's very exciting so far!

lilyy, I wouldn't have associated any of those points of what you're doing with what I was reading, thanks for the reply.

Actually I just looked on the internet about prophesying. I didn't know how popular and common this prophesying over someone has become.

How interesting! Because the vibe in your dream is quite a phenomena. There must be some validity to this kind of thing. Because there is contact between some kind of more like a pagan type of 'gang/spirit influence' (sort of ancestral/genetic/DNA type of spirit influence) and a sort of clearer/lighter bunch of influence, so it felt like a beseeching or an intercession.

Wow, so complex! I don't think I could ever really get to the bottom of that one.

Sounds like the conversation with your boyfriend was the likely issue.

Thank you for sharing your dream.
