Topic: Another dream about Silver and Golden Rings

A few days ago I had a dream. I was in my sister's house in my nephew's bedroom. My left hand was having 4 rings but I was taking off 1 of the golden wedding rings to keep the two silver with stone ones.
On my Index and middle finger I was wearing two Silver rings with stones and heart shapes. On my ring finger and little finger I was wearing the golden wedding rings. I remember taking off the one I was wearing on my little finger because the ring was my grandmother's and I told my sister that wearing it would be unappropriate. Before waking up my left hand had the two silver rings and the wedding ring that was on my ring finger.Any idea? Thank you very much IP: Logged |

I'm not sure how to interpret this dream, so I hope others can chime in with some ideas.What I do see are rings which are circles which often represent the development of an aspect of self, and the number four which represents perceived boundaries in your life and your place within them. Four can also indicate a new cycle of inner growth has begun. When one of four is emphasized it can point to an aspect or energy which is particularly active in a cycle of growth. Interestingly, the right hand symbolizes masculine/active energies, and this is where we find the one ring. I guess the question I want to ask is, is there a new love interet in your life, or is someone showing interest in you? If so, do you find it somehow "inappropriate?" Or maybe you have been thinking about your current/future relationship status? Like I said, I'm not sure. What do you think?  IP: Logged |

Hei Ra. Thank You. First, was the left hand not the right hand. Second... I know no one who can be interested in me and even if that someone would exist I already love someone with whom I want to share my life. He isnt inappropiate at all. I'm trying to think about why you were at your sister's house and your nephew's room ...Perhaps this has something to do with the preciousness and value of family or family ties? Or maybe there is some issue of respect amongst family members, maybe concerning your nephew? Could there be some issue or situation concerning boundaries within your family? As you are at your sister's house, could it be that you are, out of love (heart rings), overstepping your boundaries with sister/nephew? Do any of these possibilities strike a chord?

I think I need to back-track. For some reason I neglected to thoroughly read your response to my first post and missed the part where you said the dream could possibly be about your future relationship status. As the wedding ring is emphasized, and the silver rings have hearts and stones, I am inclined to think the dream is a reflection of of this, of your thoughts about your relationship status.
