My phone has a touchscreen, and I remember looking at my phone and realizing (to my horror) that this person could see me (through the phone, kinda like Skype). I thought that I had unknowingly called him (like a "butt dial").

I was frantically trying to hang up the phone b/c I didn't want him to think I had intentionally called him. I kept tapping the screen trying to end the call, but it was like the more I tried, the more the call kept hanging on the line. Then I heard his voice....In a calm voice, I heard him say my name, then proceed to say something like "It's okay", then say my name again. The picture on the screen was like he was in his apartment moving around, kind of like he was giving me an unofficial tour, and also showing me that he was living there alone.

Then, when it seemed like we were going to have a conversation, it was like one of us freaked out and hurriedly ended the call. After the call ended, everytime I looked at my phone, I kept having to end calls b/c even though the phone never rang & I never called him, he was back on my phone(again, like Skype).

We used to be very close, but we've both been through a lot of upheaval the past few years, so he & I haven't spoken in almost a year. He pulled away from me b/c he had some things he needed to work out (baggage), and that could not be done if we were in each others lives. We'd fallen out of contact, not knowing if it would be forever or not. So, this dream really felt like it was the first time we'd spoken or seen each other in a year. I(BTW, we didn't have a falling out - I just think he had a sudden freak out.)

During this time, I have thought of him often, but he doesn't often show up in my dreams. Yes, I would like us to reconnect when the time is right, but the ball is in his court right now.

He's come up a lot lately, in that I had this dream, I had a tarot reading that indicated the possibility of his coming back into my life, and we are strongly connected astrologically. On the other hand, maybe this is all just wishful thinking on my part, I don't know. But I don't think all of it is....

Don't feel silly, your questions are perfectly legitimate. And yes, there is the possibility that your dream indicates a reconnection.

In this one, I remember that I had keys to his apartment, which was a different apartment than the one I first told you about. Someone (who??) wanted me to go in and look for something while he was out. I remember going in & looking around but soon left b/c I wasn't sure what I was searching for. I went in a second time, looked around some more, then left (I think empty-handed) b/c I was nervous he would come home & find me there. I didn't feel comfortable sneaking around behind his back.

After I left, I found myself standing in my grandparents driveway staring at the house across the street, which was my childhood best friend's house. It was the house I had been searching in, but in my dream it was my soulmate/friend/love interest's apartment. I began to feel uneasy when I noticed there were some lights on in the back of the apartment...I didn't remember there being any lights being on. Next thing I know, I see him through the window walking through his apartment! I started to panic upon realizing that he had been in the apartment the entire time I was inside (although he didn't see me)!

I don't remember if we spoke or not in this dream. I think we may have in the first part but not in the second, and I don't remember there being any tension between us.

Does this new dream speak to you at all? I'm not sure if I am picking up any messages from this one. Perhaps you may be right about the last dream, but I don't anticipate hearing from him anytime soon b/c I don't believe the timing is right yet. We'll see if he shows up in anymore dreams. Thanks!

This dream has some similarities to the first one in that you are nervous/anxious about connecting with him, even though it is your desire to do so. So I don't see as much a message in the dream as I see a reflection of your thoughts/desires concerning your connection with him. However, I suppose we could read a certain message into it …

If there is a message, I suppose it would be something like, "Why are you searching? What are you searching for? He is there, he is home."

Thanks, and as always, I both appreciate and enjoy reading your take on things. Your viewpoints make a lot of sense. I think that's a lot of the problem. Honestly, I've said those exact words to myself before. He's felt like home to me for a long time now. He probably did feel the same way at one time, but I can only go by what I've seen from him for the past year--that he doesn't want me in his life. At least not right now. Frankly, I think he really needed the time to himself to dump his baggage and rediscover himself. And no matter how many signs the Universe may throw at me, until I hear from HIM, I can't do anything but respect that. How I feel and what I want don't matter...at least not right now.
