Here's my other thread about my Buddha dream http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum15/HTML/002896.html In waking life i have always felt closest to Shiva. As I am on a current spiritual learning journey and my heart lead me to learn about hinduism..and I've dreamt about him and Ganesha before, in a dream where I was traveling through different realms ____
The other night I had a dream someone had me and other groups of people on a quest inside of a house to find hidden items. I started with a group, then I started finding all of the items on my own. So I left the group and told them I would be independent for now on. I ended up winning the game and the person who was in charge told me which God I have closest to. I was worried, because I wondered if If it were Shiva, when I opened the slip of paper the person gave me, it had Vishnu on it...and some indian word underneath that started with a P that I dont remember. Then I had a dream i was in the ocean (another common dream theme) --- When I took a nap today I had a dream that i was in a modern building but Shiva Vishnu Brahma and their wives were there. I don't remember what happened i just remember them being there. ___ what does this mean?

This dream is about self discovery. The house represents your Self. The quest to find the hidden items is the quest you are on to find those hidden powers and energies within yourself, your hidden treasures. Others can assist in some ways, but inevitably this is something you must do yourself, which you are doing, just as indicated by the dream (left group, find items on your own). The way I see it, the various gods represent the highest expressions of the energies/powers/lessons you are seeking to discover as well as the spiritual forces which are guiding you. This dream is a good sign of your continuing progress. Please keep posting your dreams. I love to hear them.

Even though this response is pretty late, about 2 weeks ago I had ANOTHER dream involving the hindu gods.I dreamt that I awoken from my sleep and saw my boyfriend still sleeping on the other side of the bed. The sun was beginning to rise but it was still dark. All of a sudden Shiva came into my body and I began dancing in the hindu dance (I've never tried in real life) and then Parvati came into me also. They both overtook my body and made me dance in a frenzy like Shiva's dance of destruction. IP: Logged |

From your dreams one thing is clear that you connect to Hindu GODs quite a bit. Are you having Hindu friends with whom you talk about them or do you read more about them quite often or do some meditation practices involving them? If not then it also could mean that you have sometime in your lives been connected to Hindu practices deeply. Could have been possibly born a Hindu and worshipped Ganesh and Shiva. In one of your dreams you saw Brahma Vishnu Mahesh with their wives. That is trinity and its manifestation, prakriti. Was the name with Vishu, Padmavati or something on that line? Then that would be his wife who is famously called as Lakshmi, Goddess of wealth. Padmavati is one her many names. That dream showed you that you connected with potential energy, GOD in its trinity form/level and HIS kinetic energy i.e. their wives = manifestation which Hindus call prakriti. That shows you are connecting to higher realms. Btw are you initiated into Shaktipaat diksha or any buddhist practices like Vipasana or any other Hindu dikshas?

I believe the frenzied dancing is a representation of high energy vibrations rising within you (kundalini) and enlivening/activating your energy centers, or chakras. IP: Logged |

I see. Seeing Hindu deities showed a connection either present or one of the past lives unless ofcourse you are a Hindu yourself.IP: Logged |
