Hi,

I had two very vivid dreams last night, one which is a reoccuring theme about fighting a demon. A bit of background, I follow an eceltic spiritual path, w an emphasis on native american shamanism and divinity as God/Goddess/nature.

I am also a long time practioner of magick, will not call it white magick, as magick is neither white nor black, but my intent is always postive self improvement =)

Ok so in the first dream, the reoccuring one, I am about to fight a demon. Demon looks like the aliens in the Mel Gibson Signs film. Oddly, the thought arises in my mind that I should not be fearful due to being a carrier of Rh negative blood type.

I beging to fight the demon with very little fear or anxiety, the demon starts to gain a bit advantage. I look around and ask my son and spouse for help. Both are afraid, neither helps (in real life both are respectful of my spirit path but do not follow it. My other two children are possibly Indigo children w strong spiritual leanings).

Feeling annoyed by the lack of help, I charge the demon with my magickal sword and sway it much as St. George did with the dark dragon. Demon disappears and I am standing in triumph, pleased that my own magick held strong in face of dark energy.

The second dream involved my favorite Goddess Hecate (she has been visiting me in dream form lately). I informed Hecate, that my magickal name would be Isabelle (meaning oath) and she shook her head and pointed to a written record, sort of like an askhatic record tablet, in which my name was written as Giselle (meaning pledge).

Not sure what this means? Hecate also stood with a beautiful silver wolf, instead of her usual three dark dog companions. Anyways, I awoke feeling intrigued, not at all nervous.

Thanks =)

Hi, that fighting business sounds like you are fighting some shadow parts in your life in which your spouse and son arent helping you. But you find the strength within yourself to do it. And are quite happy about it. It boosts your confidence. The second part about the Goddess i think is about your own strength and a binding that you have towards your goal. Hence pledge. Its different from oath in the sense that its just not your resolve but a step ahead like in owing to do something - a responsibility. And the wolf is for wisdom and silver for intuition. Your psychic powers. My 2 cents.

Hello PhoenixFire

I very much agree with Love&Light.

I was trying to get a feeling for why the first dream may be reoccuring ...

Does it seem to occur at times when you need a reminder of your power?

Or is there a "demon" within yourself or in your life that you must periodically fight?

What part of the dream is reoccuring?

The reoccurring part is fighting a demon and defeating it using my magick, with no one else to help me. I think it is partially based on a situation within waking life that is pending to be resolved, and also coming to terms w my own personal power

I've felt drawn to finding divinity within nature all my life, and am happy to be free at last to be myself spiritually. There is a conflict w the indoctrination of religion that was drummed into my head as a child. Also as my faith/spirituality grows, I'm feeling the drive to no longer hide my beliefs due to fear of stigma, and be myself despite the potential responses of misunderstanding/fear/hate. I've at last found friends of like minded paths which has motivated me into finding/expressing my inner spiritual self.
