Hey all,Woke up this morning with a weird feeling, is New Years Eve. I dreamt that the guy I had lunch with before the holidays was in my dream and we were on a date and he was cuddling me and making me laugh. Perhaps wishful thinking dream? Anyway, nice I think! Although there was a werid elevator in the dream with two doors and I had to figure out how to shut the doors so I could go to the top of the apartment. Upon relfection I think the elevator is key here, in the dream I had previously been able to go up to the top floor in the elevator....this second time I seemed to be concerned about how to shut the doors properly, door in front of me and behind me. Door to past and future? Wishing everyone a good 2013... Sparkling IP: Logged |

You have two paths to take. One will take you were you want to be the other will leave you stuck. Or you are spending to much time trying to fix or close/shut off/put behind you that happened awhile ago. You might need to just close one door and the other will follow suit. The dream with the guy is not wishful dreaming. You actually like him. This is common when people like someone they will dream about them. Happy New Year! Edit: To dream that you are ascending in an elevator represents a rise to status and wealth. You may have risen to a higher level of consciousness and are looking at the world from an elevated viewpoint. If the elevator is moving upward in an out of control fashion or it crashes through the roof, then it indicates that you are being catapulted to a position of power in which you do not yet know how to deal with. You are afraid of the new responsibilities ahead for you. Descending in an elevator suggests that you are being grounded or coming back down to reality. It also signifies setbacks and misfortunes. In general, the up and down action of the elevator represents the ups and downs of your life. It also symbolizes emotions and thoughts that are emerging out of and submerging into your subconscious. Alternatively, the dream may have sexual connotations. To dream that the elevator is out of order or that it is not letting you off symbolizes that your emotions have gotten out of control. It may be a reflection of your life or your career. You are feeling stuck in some aspect of your life, whether it is your career, relationship, etc. To dream that the elevator is moving sideways means that your efforts are counterproductive. You are going nowhere in your work, relationship or other situation. http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/e.htm IP: Logged |

yes the elevator was key, there was something about getting the doors to close. I had sucessfully gone up the top in the elevator before....I had been with the guy before as I walked in the building, but in the elevator I was alone trying to figure out how to close it so I could go up (and meet the guy at the top). The guy is representative of my desire? You may also be trying to impress him with the power (success) you have. When he really doesn't care about that at all. He was with you before and he's probably not at the top of the elevator. Step out of the elevator and go back outside. He's sitting on the bench (or waiting somewhere) for you to realize that he likes you for who you are. That or get out of the elevator and take the stairs because this is something that you will have to work for. hehehe- Debby IP: Logged |

Hello Sparkling Very Nice! I agree with all that Debby has pointed out here and would like to thank her for the most excellent input, all about this forum. It is much appreciated. Thanks Debby! I love the thoughts about the doors representing past/future or behind/ahead, which makes you in the elevator representative of the present. I think the dream could suggest that in order to elevate yourself or reach the heights of your desires, you need to figure out how to not think so much about the past and future, and shift your focus into the present. Like you said, less thinking and more doing. Consider also that both doors and elevators are symbols of transition, so in this respect the dream indicates that you feel kind of stuck - up, down, and sideways - when it comes to how to handle relationships at the moment. Being stuck is not where a Saggy wants to be!

Hello Ra and I also echo the thanks to Debby, she is doing great! Oh yes a stuck saggy is an unhappy one.... However, since this dream have been taking more action!and I agree too that thinking in the present and being in the moment will calm me for sure. Also times of change and transition are good but can feel scary too...hence my trouble in doing anything in the dream. This dream was good for me, helped me to clarify some thoughts... best Sparkling IP: Logged |
