Topic: Bear in dream...?

Last night in my dream, I was in the woods sitting in a car (it looked as though it was early in the morning) Can't remember if my father (he's still alive in real life) was inside with me or outside, but we saw a bear. I wasn't scared at all & he told me that the bear was his friend's "friend." The bear was peaceful, did no harm, etc. Then all of a sudden (still in the car), we hear the bear "crying" somewhere off in the woods. I assumed that the bear was being attacked by someone else. Anyways, my father's friend goes out to try and save the bear. & That's where the dream left off....I don't know whether or not the bear died or if my father's friend rescued it in time..Any meaning behind this dream? Also, I remember going to sleep both angry & sad (in real life, not the dream) So maybe the bear had to do with that...? IP: Logged |

It sounds like you feel lost in whatever journey you're on. You're sitting in a car, in the dark woods but you're not driving. Not driving makes me think maybe you're overwhelmed by the path youre taking? Your father being there might be a comforting figure that tries to shield you from pain and reassure you. The bear might symbolize something apart of you that is wounded. Do you come off as a strong person? I think of a wounded bear showing you yourself. IP: Logged |

Ahh, I see & yes, I do come off as a strong person, but inside, I am deeply emotional. & It wasn't really dark in dream, it was light out, like early in the morning.
