Anyone else have these? I used to have them very rarely...or at least, I only noticed them when they foretold dramatic events (like death or pregnancy.) Because of those occasional psychic dreams, I've learned to recognize that there is a particular feel to dreams that I have, which indicate to me that they are predicting something. I had a psychic dream predicting (for me) the Sandy Hook massacre. Two days before it happened I woke up and told my husband that I believed a lot of kids were going to die, and it would be a national tragedy. The other night I had a psychic dream. I knew it was psychic because of the "feel." In this dream, Steve Martin was swimming behind his mansion and a predator drone flew overhead. He was so scared that he started gulping down the chlorinated water, trying to die by water/chlorine instead of getting killed by the drone. I thought of posting this dream right after it happened because I believed it was psychic. So, several hours after I woke up, my husband offered to take our kids swimming at the YMCA. They hadn't gone for almost a year. While they were there, my one son swallowed too much chlorinated water and has been complaining of a stomachache ever since. That night, a big news story broke about predator drones being used on US citizens. I still hadn't found "Steve Martin" and I thought of googling him to see if anything came up. But then today we went to the store and passed a bulletin board. Someone had posted a flyer with beautiful tattoos on it, so I stopped to look at them all, and the website for the tattoos was something like steve-martin-tattoos.com That's probably a boring story. But I'm starting to think I should pay more attention to my dreams. Thanks for listening. Interested in hearing if anyone else has this happen, and what placements you have that you believe correspond to it? For me, I believe it's my 8H Pisces moon ruling the 12H. With my 6H sun and 12H Saturn in mutual reception. IP: Logged |

Hello Faith Not boring at all! I have had psychic dreams, but they are few and far between, and they always seem to be about everyday stuff, nothing "national" or "big news". Thank you for sharing!

I have these.Once I dreamt I was playing in a yard and a car drove off the street and plowed through the fence. Next day on the news I heard a car jumped the curb and hit a Mother & child on the sidewalk. Another time I dreamt I was working the front desk/counter of an event & a guy came up to buy something. I asked his name and he said Peter Something (a long hard to spell polish sounding name). Next day I passed by a TV and glanced down to see Peter Whats-his-name reporting. Odd, because I don't even remember what the story was about, or what show I was looking, I simply glanced at the TV screen in passing. IP: Logged |

I have them but they are only small events. But I will have very emotional dreams where something is happening to me when it really isn't. O.o Lucky! or not? You decide. IP: Logged |

Linda said that we visit the future when we dream. It is usually the near future (a few days) and often just of mundane things.------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

Martin Shulman says dreams and premonitions are memories of the past. As no one can see the future, but remember the past. IP: Logged |

I believe we travel to the past and the future. Really, there is no difference as time is illusory, so it is just as easy for our astral counterparts to travel in any "direction". IP: Logged |

I'm sorry I didn't see these last few replies. With the experiences I've had I can't help but think I see the future sometimes. Maybe my subconscious is just sensitive enough to certain underlying currents that part of me knows where they will flow, and how they will pool together. quote: Originally posted by Nine: I have these.Once I dreamt I was playing in a yard and a car drove off the street and plowed through the fence. Interesting! Well I wanted to post an update. I had a psychic dream about five nights ago where my two year-old got shot in the head. But he could still talk and he told me he was suffering. Needless to say I woke up in emotional agony and couldn't get back to sleep. A few hours later my two year-old woke up. Within a couple of hours he had fallen off a chair and hit his head. I thought, "Well maybe that was what my dream was telling me..." but I wasn't sure. Then on LindaLand, that night, I was in a conversation where someone brought up children suffering greatly. Same theme. Yesterday, though, I saw in the news that a four year-old shot and killed his six year-old friend by accident, in New Jersey, not far from where I am from. This event is most like my dream. I would have felt wretched about this anyway but having "gone through it" in my dream so recently, I really feel connected to the tragedy. I wasn't sure who shot my son in my dream... but I knew that it was a mistake, nothing with malicious intent.

Hi there! Interesting premonitions Faith. I have got several dreams over the last 10-15 years predicting various incidents in my life. However i could not make out the time or exactly what they meant only until later when the incident took place. They were about me or people in my vicinity but never about any incident on international level. My friend got these kind of dreams. I don't know whether she still gets them as we are not in touch. But they were never in the form of that incident occuring in some form like in yours. She is Krishna and Ganesha devotee. And her dreams were always like something happened to them. Like once Lord Ganesha's head got cut off from the torso. It rolled over. Just a few days before 9/11. Then once if i remember correctly it was Ganesha again when HIS head got hit or something. Sorry can't recollect properly. I think i am confusing the two. It was a tsunami later. I had got to a point when the moment she would tell 'I got a dream' i would say please tel me whether i am in it or not. If not then i would be relaxed. LOL Because once she got a dream where we were running ahead and guess what? There were tigers running behind us. LOL We had a good laugh. But now that i recollect (I had forgotten about it actually. As i started narrating here i remembered about it) in the coming years (this was around 15-20 yrs back) we faced one problem after the next in our lives. She more than me in some ways and in some me more than her. I have Nep in 12H. Could be because of that? I don't know about her placements but she was a devotee. She had Krishna's darshan (his sight in the inner eye) as a child. IP: Logged |

Oh I love your stories, Love & Light! There still are wild tigers in India, aren't there? Well, I am completely in the dark about what it means to be a devotee of Krishna or Ganesha, but it all intrigues me. I have also had dreams that came true years later. For instance, when I was about six years old, I had a dream that my father died from drinking some iced tea that had a machine in the glass. I was in mourning over this dream for months, if you can believe that. It just felt so real. When I was thirty, my father was hospitalized for most of the year. He had had a mini stroke, but one hospital mistake after another wore down his health very fast. He also lost the ability to swallow properly. Consequently, any time he would try and sneak a drink, he was at risk of developing pneumonia from the water going into the lungs. But he was stubborn and was drinking a lot...for seven months, the ordeal was largely centered around the question, "Did he drink anything?" (all nourishment was supposed to come from his feeding tube.) Ultimately he died of a number of factors but the main thing was his congestion in his lungs, from drinking. When I was about 20, a friend took me to a reputable psychic (she cost a lot of money, that's how I know she was good! ) I asked her if she thought I might be psychic. She said, "You're already psychic in your dreams. You just haven't been paying close enough attention." Hmm! Well now I'm finally starting to. IP: Logged |

Regarding 9-11...Do you ever have a song running through your head all night? Sometimes I do...it seems to play even through my dreams. Through the night on 9-11, and early that morning, the song running through my head was Streets of Laredo, an old cowboy ballad. The lyrics of the refrain are: Come sit down beside me And hear my sad story I'm shot in the breast And I'm going to die. Later, the media aired several audio recordings of the people who phoned their loved ones from the top of the towers or the doomed planes. And it was all more or less, "I'm going to die." Very interesting post! I enjoyed reading it. It's funny how things alter a bit in reality. I don't really get these, at best I get mundane sleep deja vu, well sometimes I think I dream of other people telling me their true feelings (when I'm left wondering).I do know a couple people however that do get psychic dreams. One person would often dream of strangers that he'd often meet in a later time in life (including me). He predicted; someone's death he met at church before, his own car wreaks and work conditions. He also predicted being married to a stranger at the time and having an affair. Later this "wife" became his step-sister who's new husband had an affair with the same woman. He also predicted inpregnating me some years later, while as it turns out I did get pregnant but by someone else. Definately gives me more faith in destiny. The two people I know with these abilities have a fire sun (aries, leo), water moon (pisces). Just curious; what do these prophetic dreams FEEL like? Maybe the answer will tell me which dreams to pay closer attention to, lol. IP: Logged |

Hi eyes_like_pisces,Thanks for reading my stories. Interesting predictions from your friend! Let me see if I can describe the feeling of a psychic dream. It's almost like you wake up electrically charged, and instead of just remembering the dream, it's still pulsing through you. There's an insistent quality to it...like you try and get it out of your head but it's like rock solid. I woke up with that feeling a few days before the Boston marathon but didn't have any recollection of the details of the dream. That is especially disturbing when it happens, because I don't have any clue of what to look for, I just get a sense that something bad is on the horizon. I know that worldwide something bad is always on the horizon, and who knows, maybe I dream about them too sometimes (?) but I can only match dreams I have to events that follow soon after. My best friend is a Pisces sun-Mercury and she gets tsunami dreams before the big tsunamis...she gets very upset any time she has these dreams, even though she's usually very composed when tragedy strikes. But she feels like she goes through every tsunami personally...very disturbing. Anyway, sorry to be grim. Hope you have a nice day. IP: Logged |

HiI had a few psychic dreams but it was more moments in the future...for example of me in an office, turning to speak to someone. I may not recognise the office or who i speak to. BUT then it will happen in a year or two...that gives me a sense of de ja vu. Its not dramatic or interesting but shows me that some things are set out ahead. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Thanks for answering my question ...I actually just posted a thread how I find a difficult time distinguishing between if my mind that won't let go of my dreams or vice-versa, ha.I can imagine somewhat how difficult that is to know something bad is coming and not sure what. You must be in constant alert of everything around you until that something reveals itself to you. I love the Pisces-Tsunami connection, (though I'm sure your friend doesn't). Just fascinating to find those kind of astrological connections. Since my mercury is in Aqua my dreams center more on enviornment. IP: Logged |

I'll try and find that thread, sounds interesting! My Mercury is in Aqua, too. I wonder how that affects my dream life? What does your Mercury aspect? I don't have my exact birth time, but my Mercury is definitely close to quintile my Pisces moon, if not exactly quintile. I've read that quintiles can indicate a lack of awareness about certain powers we have. If so that would explain me ignoring or downplaying my vivid, sometimes phenomenal dream life all these years. My Mercury is: conjunct Eros sextile 4H Sag Venus trine 3H Pluto square 4H Scorpio Uranus square Taurus MC opposing 12H Saturn Who knows, maybe the fact that my Mercury is part of a fixed grand cross (if the MC counts as a point?) helps me "fix" or retain my dreams! I don't really know...just guessing. Nice talking with you. IP: Logged |

That's what I conclude from those kinds of experiences, too: things are set out ahead. I also have this weird idea that we live backwards and forwards. Like, we feel the end from the beginning and understand the beginning best at the end.

I have these but usually they pertain to my life. I know they are psychic/ important because they strike a chord and I remember them. Sometimes a love one that has passed comes to me bearing a message and sometimes I have premonitions. The weirdest and the nicest though were dreams I had about a certain man. I have always wondered if he felt or received the dream/ message at the same time I did (as if we were connecting). I have never had the courage to ask him, though. IP: Logged |
