My mother died in 2010. I have a reoccurring dream of her being alive and healthy, and at first my reaction is shock. Sometimes I try to explain to her that she died, and I'm emotional and angry. Other times I'm surprised, but able to enjoy the dream and pretend for awhile that she's still alive. The dream almost always ends the same way though. Her mouth fills with blood and she dies again, and I can never do anything to stop it.Is there any significance to the blood filling her mouth? Her death wasn't at all blood related or violent, though it was sudden. The dream is very upsetting and disturbing to me, and more often than not I wake up in a terrible mood. Does anyone else have dreams like this about deceased relatives and do you think that they are trying to contact you, or that it's your subconscious working through your grief? Usually when a person dreams about deceased relatives, it can mean a few things. It could be the subconscious way of Coping, the relative could just be playing aisrt or character in a random dream, or sometimes they do try to contact you.I feel like your mother is a representation of your happiness. Sometimes your able to go with the flow and just be happy, other times reality kicks in. This happiness can apply anywhere- whether its Daily life or your emotions dealing with the a passing of your mother. The blood might symbolize you feel wounded like your heart is bleeding. Blood in dreams is suppose to symbolize life , maybe your mother is trying to bleed life back into your heart or soul if youve been down. Scary dreams dont necessarily mean bad meaning. IP: Logged |
