I always have very vivid dreams and they are often very pleasant. But for the last four nights, I've been having this dream, where someone/something tries to drown me in a purple pool. When I'm underneath the "water" I can see a pair of glowing green orbs.

I took a look at my personal life but there isn't anyone trying to hurt me or oppressing me. So I'm clueless about what this dream might mean. I'm a bit scared of sleeping now.

Any advice/input is greatly appreciated. Thank you =)

Hi,

Are you submerging yourself in spiritual knowledge lately? It might be showing you it is a bit much; you are drowning in it.
I interpreted all characters in dreams as aspects of the self. The one pushing you under water in this case might be you. Water is always about emotions, but since the colour is purple (6th chakra) I took it as spiritual realms. Then the green orbs. It really depends on the specific colour. But glowing like that I get a more 'toxic' feel. You seem to be searching for something solid. Are you searching to get the 'full picture' of something? Getting more insight (also purple) on a situation to be fully aware?
Just my thoughts for now.
Orbs are a very specific dream symbol by the way. Dreams symbols are always personal, so make sure that you think about what meaning an orb has 2 you. If the orb looks more like a crystal ball I can also imagine you are very busy getting the picture of your future right.

Hope this helps a bit. Bye

Twirl: Hi, wow thank you so much. Your post is very helpful. I read your posts again and again and really thought about it.

The green orbs are a deep green, but has a faint glow that makes me feel uneasy (like you said, “toxic”). They seem to me almost like a pair of eyes that watch me and “anticipate” an outcome.

Your interpretation is spot on. Very true about the spiritual knowledge. The two times I’ve experienced astral projection (I think I have, I had never talked to anyone or done anything to confirm it) were around this time of the year. Lately I’ve been reading about it, trying to understand more about astral projection and what it means to me. Too much energy that I can’t control and too much thought about it in a short period of time, so yeah it’s apparent that I can’t handle such intensity. I’ll give it a break for now.

Thank you again for your interpretation =D

Very welcome, glad it helped :-)
Just focussing on practicalities like house work or activities in which you use your body (sports, walks in the woods) will get your feet right back on the ground and stop the scary dreams.
Nightmares in general only occur if your subconscious cannot get a message trough otherwise. If the message clicked in, then you should sleep like an angel :-)
