It appears I am in a building looking for something. There is a door and I walk through it and see someone. I see this person and then I quickly move onto closing the door. The person seems to rather want to leave but I need to talk to this man and so after closing door I move onto locking it. I have some difficulty locking it and then lock turns red and I get this push inside of me telling me to lock immediately before is too late and then I lock it. I look at the man and I wake up.For some reason it was important that I locked the door, what can this mean??? The man in my dream I have never seen before nor did I feel a romantic attraction towards him but he was important for some reason.

Are you trying to develop some new skills? Skills you want (and perhaps need) to practically apply something in your life, but haven't been able to fully grasp? (Could be from financial planning till learning which action you should take to achieve your goals). It would be something you don't master yet. You are locking this qualities in, 'the gotcha, I know how to act now'-approach. Both the red and the male represent that to me. The red here I read as 'energy needed' & 'practical approach', but also gave an extra urgency to the situation. You need (want) to apply these skills pronto. Red has many more meanings though. So see how you feel about the colour red. What does it represent? Is there a 'red-hot' issue you are trying to solve? Just my take on it. How do you feel about that? Love to hear. IP: Logged |

Hi Amelia, You are welcome. Would love the hear what you come up with. It can also be you are from now on noticing you are doing something different (approach). This can go by hardly unnoticed, but it will seem like it's going more easy than before. If it didn't ring truth directly, it might be the interpretation didnt nail it completely. In regards to the red: then also look at what situations in life anger/frustrate you & what in your life is in need of solutions. Love to hear! Bye IP: Logged |

Hello Amelia I agree much with Twirl. The way I see it, the building represents part of your psychological "structure", the room represents a particular compartment of this structure which contains that which you are in need of or looking for, albeit likely unconsciously, and the man represents your animus, or masculine aspects of self which you need to connect with and utilize (need to talk to man). As Twirl said, I think your dream is indicating that it is urgent (red) for you to "lock in" this masculine aspect of yourself, to connect with it. In the dream the man wanted to leave, suggesting that in your waking life there is a situation/issue you are not naturally inclined to act upon, perhaps something within yourself (an idea, thought, emotion, intuition, etc.) which cannot be expressed or acted upon without the help of your own masculine energies. Whether the situation/issue in your waking life is inner or outer, I believe your dream is telling you that it is possible for you to take action if you connect with your masculine energies. Combined with Twirl's thoughts, does this make any sense to you? IP: Logged |

You both have given me great insights and I really appreciate a lot both of your analysis and belief you two are grasping what is going on better than I am myself.I did switch careers a little over a year ago and since July specially have been working really hard and focused in helping my business grow and in improving how I do things. I have been learning a bunch of new skills as a result of switch in career brought to you by 4th house uranus transit and a lot of personal growth has resulted from it. There were some challenges but they have been overcome resulting in a lot of growth and advancement. Both of your interpretations get confirmed by the meaning I found of a detail about the dream that I naively did not mention. The man had clear blue eyes. Check out meaning for blue eyes that applies to me and this dream IMO:
"To dream about solely a pair of blue eyes is to say that you feel as if you are making deep progress in something. Pair of blue eyes looks crisp and clear just as your eyes must be in order to make advancements. They do not need to be literally crisp and clear but you do need to have your mind unimpeded by frivolous pursuits in order to get any real work done. To see a pair of blue eyes in your dreams suggests you are making excellent progress in whatever you are working on at the moment, and will continue to see an increase in your progress in the days to come." I have overcome obstacles, learn, used creativity, persistence and this has resulted in advancement and personal growth. The change in career was influenced by husband but the hard work I have done myself. Specially since July I have been giving it my all. IP: Logged |

In addition I have two classes left in order to finish my master and I do feel like I need to get that done before end of year (sense of urgency) for the mere reason I want to finish what I have started even if I decide not to pursue a career in psychology after all.I had to reflect on what you guys said for a while to really see what you are saying makes sense bc is like I was too close and focused to situation to see the bigger picture dream was trying to tell me. Beautiful! Thanks for your great feedback. I really believe some of the qualities you already use now, will be used with greater ease and be more integrated in yourself. Good luck with the master! IP: Logged |
