I remember some snippets from my dream last night, though they seem to be a puzzle of several dreams.

In the first dream, I returned home, when it was night, and saw that my bathroom window AND the door to myt appartment were standing wide open (the only windows/ doors facing the entry side, North).

In that other snippet of dream, and that puzzles me, there was a strong mentioning of the film "The hunger games".
The thing is, I have never seen the film, have notr ead the book, and know next to nothing about it!

There were some other snippets, but al in all these were real dreams, surreal and confusing, for once in my life. lol

EDIT:
I am also dreaming an awful lot of bathrooms. LOL

In another segment of the dream, I was with my mom, and we were looking for a hotelroom in the Netherlands, and we were inspecting a lot of bathrooms and showers to see if they were dirty or clean. lol

My mum did disappear at a certain time though.

Hi,

Since it is snippets I will give you some general feedback.
How did you feel in your dream when you saw the house was left open? This will give you a clue.

Bathrooms generally stand for 'letting go', cleansing out old emotions, behaviours, etc. that you no longer need. It quite often shows up when there is 'healing' needed and people start working with the spiritual/or just general self knowledge. All that is no longer needed in creating a 'new you' will be rinsed. Also a normal process when growing up and one is getting more in touch to their views of the world.

Dreams of the mother are always difficult because they can represent many things. If this is about the literal relationship with your mum it shows you are trying to leave misunderstandings from the past behind you.
You can ask yourself more questions to tune into this more. What is my relationship with my mum like in real life? How do I see her? Are we finding new ways to communicate/deal with each other?
Or: is this your internal mum. Guiding the way and showing you how to let go of events from the past.
The hotel room shows me this is a temporary phase. Shedding the old, until you come into a 'new you'.
How do you see the Netherlands? What does it represent?

Hope this helps you a bit.

Thank you very much for your tips and hints.

I was quite aware as well, at least for parts of the dreams (funnily in another part of it I was recommended to watch "the Hunger games", and I never even really payed attention to that film or book. lol)

Bu yes, well, for me the open doors are symbolic of me opening up tot he world around me in many ways.
I was a bit suspicious about those doors and windows being opened, but not at all panicky as I used to be when such a dream came up (of course these dream symbols have showed up before).

The bathroom yes, I have been or am in the process of rinsing a lot away.
Actually quite literally, as I undertook the project of really losing weight, (minus 17,4 kilo so far).
Along with it comes a change in, well not personality, but attitude.

My mom, yes, well, we are very close, and very different so that is cause for some arguments. She is also much more for cleaning than I am. Which makes sense that I dreamed of bathrooms again, and she was there as well.
However she faded away from the dream, as she should. I am a grown woman, I really am, even though I may sound like a 16 year old right now.
My relationship with my parents changes of course, with the change of my perspective on myself, my life and all of that; it becomes more equal in a way.

The Netherlands - well that was interesting. We used to be there so often during holidays.
Also the first crush I have ever had was Dutch.
Plus the last time I was in the netherlands many years ago, I did some deep thinking and it led to some internal breakthrough and understanding, though it is only manifesting in actions now, years later.

So it makes sense, I guess.

Hi,

Yes in regards to the extra information you have given me, it does make sense. As for the open doors and windows in the house (house to me generally represents the self) it also seems like you are 'letting fresh air in'. So a 'clean out' on that level as well. Difference here is that you are not in the house, but are arriving and seeing it (while it's night). Night generally represents to me you are not fully aware of the impact of it yet. You are still 'in the dark' about something in regards to this.

The Hunger Games (Gamers?) now makes much more sense when you wrote you lost so much wait! Hunger = eating less = diet, lol. I never saw the movie also though. But since you haven't and don't know much about it, the clue is in the title.

Especially when you are losing weight (and changing and with losing weight also toxics leave your body) the cleansing really makes sense. It is often a time to let go of all internal 'weight' as well.

As for the Netherlands and your view on it. You seem to also look what you can take from the lesoons learned there (what is 'clean'/ what doesn't apply to me now (dirty). It seems like this also feels like a safe and happy place for you, so I understand the 'reconnecting' to all the good from that time (and perhaps even bringing those feelings back into the here and now).

As for your mum: as stated, it can also be that she is your internal mom ( so your own aspects that is nurturing you and showing you the way).

Last but not least, since your positive view on The Netherlands, I'm expecting you to be thrilled to find out that I am actually Dutch, lol.

Good luck! And excellent you lost so much weight already

Hi,

"So a 'clean out' on that level as well. "
Yes. Definitely feels like this.

"The Hunger Games (Gamers?) now makes much more sense when you wrote you lost so much wait! Hunger = eating less = diet, lol. "
I thought so, too. But I dreamed on German and in German the title is "the tributes of Panem". though I am a Latin teacher, and of course my subconsciousness knows that panis is Latin for bread. lol

"Last but not least, since your positive view on The Netherlands, I'm expecting you to be thrilled to find out that I am actually Dutch, lol."
lol
