A thought/question occurred to me.

How ones natal aspects might affect them as dreamers. Which aspects would you look for and what might they tell you about how the person dreams

Perhaps you'd look to a Neptune and moon aspect. What would the aspect tell you. What would the placement tell you? Say its in 12th maybe you'd have a very hard time recalling your dreams. If 5th house, maybe they're super creative. Maybe if in Scorpio there super dark or super intense. If the fall in a earth sign or house maybe there more practical. Or with a aspect to Jupiter or falling in sag maybe they dream more positively.

Also how might transits and progressions affect our sleep?

Just curious to hear some thoughts or what correlations you can make between your dream patterns and your natal aspects.

The one thing that I remember that relates to that, is that when transit Neptune was squaring my Saturn I had a long series of dreams. Very strange because one night I'd see just a portion of it, as in a part of the scene, then the next night the portion as before plus another bit, on and on for weeks unfolding. The dream was I was sitting in the middle of a classroom but all the other chairs were empty and there was no teacher or other person in the room. On the sides of the front wall were 2 doors and they ran all the way up to the ceiling and each took up about 30% of the wall. Then the doors opened slowly and I saw that the hallway was filled to the ceiling with snakes, so as the doors gradually opened the snakes flooded the room I was in. All unfolded very slowly. Don't know what it meant but it was under a specific Neptune transit like you asked, that's the only series I remember of a specific dream.

Well....there was another time where I kept having dreams of being tortured in some way, or someone trying to kill me, for weeks on end, different ways by different people, and I'd wake up in physical pain from the dream. For example in one I was upside down and some guy was pushing my head into this hard floor, threatening to throw me over the edge of the banister, I awoke with pain on the top of my head as if it'd really happened. That was when transit Pluto was conjunct my progressed Moon/natal Neptune.

Very interesting.

I know little of astrology, so this is a pretty interesting line of thought. I would like to know more about these connections as well.

-Lonake, I loved hearing your experience. I'm not suprised that you woke in physical pain from a Pluto transit. I assume if any planet had the power to manifest a dream physically it would be Pluto, so that it could really hold its influence over you.

The first one you written took me time to find the link between Neptune and Saturn. Now It's like..."oh yeah, duh, 'cause they're squared! Lol. Perhaps Neptune also includes more heavy symbolism in our dreams than we other wise would find? Snakes from my understanding are usually positive, especially if you get bitten (at least that's what my Cambodian friend had told me). The context I imagine is important to. I'd assume it indicates some kinda struggle with your life path (hallway) or your idenity (empty room).

THANKS To both of you!!

Anyone else find this interesting or have something to add?

Personally; I find it interesting that I have my sun in my fourth house and often dream of enviornments, buildings, locations, old and used houses. Currently I've been have much more socially impacted dreams (while sun had transitted to Aries!) I actually dreamed I was throwing a party and my house was on fire, lol.
