Woke up from a dream this morning (so late dream...) I was at my place of work, the university, and was on campus when there was an alert, suddenly all doors shut and loud alarms, I had been separated from my friend so I rushed under the dooor before it shut and was inside a building with a crowd of people. I decided not to follow everyone into the classrooms and hid in a cupboard with air vents and was texting with my mum..then other people joined me in the cupboard. Sense of foreboding, waiting for death, panic. Then suddenly I was outside in the grasses and hills and the tsunami was coming, I felt exposed, and could see it coming.

Then I woke up

I will say though, I had had to watch a video for work during the day on travelling abroad and on keeping yourself safe, and it included disasters or terroist attacks.

A few themes: mother, death, anxiety, setting is place of work.

I think the training video made an impression. Whether the bombing in Boston, a shooting somewhere, or a natural disaster, something is always coming. Watching a video like this can strike deeply upon the subconscious responses. So your subconscious is playing out the survival role.

I agree it was the video playing itself out...and scary how Boston bombing happened...threat is always there.
