I had a strange dream. I was in my room, lying on my bed, and suddenly I noticed a scorpion in my chandelier.I was really scared, so I tried to call some people. I wanted them to kill the animal. Then there were at least 8 scorpions in the chandelier. 4 bigger ones, and the rest was smaller. Do you think that this dream is about fears? IP: Logged |

Hi Emsie Yes, I definitely think they are related to fears. Was the light of the chandelier on? And were you awake in your dream the whole time? And can you remember who you tried to call to kill the scorpions?

When I saw only one scorpion, then the lights were off and it was daylight out there. And it was night-time when I saw those 8 scorpions. The lights were on. I don't exactly remember who I called, but it was certainly a man. But he didn't come, and I was left alone to solve the problem. I was awake, because I couldn't really sleep. IP: Logged |

Hi Emsie, I am inclined to refer this to your own (perhaps self defeating?) thoughts on the future. Would that make some sense to you? The dream is about you because you are inside your house and also in the most personal place (the bedroom). But you are awake and it is light (telling me of awareness). The ceiling often represents are higher expectations/related to the future. Now the chandelier = light and representative of seeing clearly and seeing truth (putting the light in our brain on so to speak). Scorpio's being animals are representative of our 'animal instincts', so behaviours and emotions, etc. We act most often out on a subconscious level. Scorpio's have different meanings. As a star sign for example, but also in symbolism. Because you were afraid in your dream I linked it to the more destructive and dangerous side of Scorpio. You are trying to "contact" your inner male. The one that helps you build in the world and with real actions, but he isn't there to help you. So you probably don't really know how to tune into your own 'inner confidence' to act outwardly. Eight is the number of infinity. Perhaps you feel that in regards to your future you keep repeating the same patterns, without it coming to a solution. Addressing the key issue. That's my thoughts for now. Hope it will be of some help. Also try to remember how you felt in the dream and how you moved your body. Was it tense? Were you able to move? Love to hear what you think of this IP: Logged |

It's strange that my 1st thought was Scorpio being the 8th sign of the zodiac, and this house also deals with fears + endings...Maybe this dream wanted to remind me of my current lesson - to get rid of my self-sabotaging behaviour and the bad memories caused by people who only came to my life to "teach me" as well. I'm aware for a while now (luckily ) I really liked this chandelier analogy, because it was exactly how the real-life story began. I wasn't really conscious of my own demons, I only knew that fear was a part of my life like it was there. And I felt I couldn't deal with it alone. Then, I turned inward and started to slowly dive deep down with my lamp - hello Mr. Hermit - and realized that there was even more than meets the eye. Another fact: 8 is my birth number and Strength is my birth card, so number 8 is always by my side. IP: Logged |
