In real life I had been scratching a little at a place by the temple part close by my right eye. Not bloodying the place, just scratching a little as there was a hard little raised spot.
In my dream I saw the area but longer and extended a bit with a long straight opening very clean and pink as if something underlying had been removed, The "wound" was open with the flesh sort of drooping but not bloody or pussing-just very clean

Hi

Wounds generally indicate that healing is necessary, but since it was such a clean wound and it felt something was 'removed' it might suggest you are seeing something more clearly (eyes plus wound). But facing this truth might have 'hurt'. How did you feel about seeing the wound? Were there more details to the dream?

no more to the dream but that image- how I felt: glad it was clean and healthy looking. Thinking it would take a long time to "fill in" the space-wondering what had been removed-hoping it did not mean that I was 'cleaned out' in some deal-
wondering why it had not gotten stitches-it looked like something like a tumor or cyst or something had been cleanly scooped out but had left an empty space where it had been.

This seems some sort of healing for me as well. I really like analogies and metaphors, so I hope it won't sound "Chinese" to you.

"All the toxic pus gone away, and you can begin 'stitching' the wound by letting time doing all the hard work."

Maybe you have all pieces of 'the puzzle' now and you can move on by healing.

I just sent my reply, but now I see you also thought about stitches, too.
