had some kind of "power" in my right hand and sort of an inner dialogue going on inside my dream self- One faction of my dream selfsort of saying, 'You never use that power!" and moving my right arm and very quickly spotting a nest high up in a tree. it was a large nest and on close examination at least two baby birds were in it-rather large babies to be able to be seen. My other self faction cried out, "No No Not the nest!" as the first faction of self aimed and shot some kind of "fire power" laser like energy out of the right pointer and index finger (mostly it seemed) at the nest and scored a direct hit! Boom! A brief flare up of flame! The nest falls to the ground and the baby birds are sort of hopping around-they are not quite fledglings- and the parent birds land nearby and are disconcerted, wondering what they will do now. The side of me that said ,"Oh, no!" is adding to the chaos around the fallen birds and the parents while the other faction-the releaser of the energy is feeling a little guilty but mostly in awe that the "power" that had been contained so long actually "worked". That faction also was thinking it could have picked a different target but "what else could that power be used for now that it was shown we had it, could use it, and that it worked.
What stood out the most was the accuracy of "the shot of power" and how the nest was destroyed but not the birds.

Few weeks ago I also dreamed about nests. I think the primary meaning is home, everything related to the home environment. The place where you feel at home. Or even your soul can be that place.Did something happen to you or your home, lately? IP: Logged |

Hello tuxedo meow  The birds represent aspects of self, the part of you that wishes to "fly" but cannot. The nest is that which contains the birds, that which surrounds them, protects them, gives comfort to them. It is also that which confines them (aka, you) and it is that which needs to be destroyed and transformed (fire). The dream is indicating that you need to use particular masculine energies (right hand), energies you don't normally use (perhaps action, assertiveness, aggressiveness) to create/initiate/facilitate the changes you wish to make in your life. You have the power to create the change you desire. Use it and it will work. Walk in Peace
