Hey guys, I've been wondering all day about this dream I had lastnight that was pretty scary. I was with my dad and we were riding around in a neighborhood I dream about alot. it seems we were going too my dad grandfather's house who I've never met by the way. In the yard, he had like crocodiles roaming around like they were his pets. I was very scared when we got out of the car, one in particular chased me and actually bit me on the back of my ankle. Once I was inside, I sat down very shook up and my grandfather had all of these men inside(I'm assuming friends of his) and they were all standing around laughing at me like this was normal! I was sitting beside my father and he had a lighter which he lit and held up to my face and I swatted him away and I woke up. can anybody shed some light on this? Or do a reading for me? IP: Logged |

Are you male yourself? (And in your late teens perhaps?) It has a very masculine feel to it in a sense like 'what a man should be/behave like'.IP: Logged |

That's good to know. That massively changes the meaning, lol. I'll have a closer look at it when I can spare some time IP: Logged |

Hello Scorpio There is definitely an overwhelming presence of paternal or masculine energy (father/grandfather/men). Interestingly, the only feminine symbol is the crocodile, which can represent negative or darker aspects of feminine energy. This dream could suggest that your energies are out of balance, that there is a need to energize or "feed" aspects of your feminine nature (crocodile bites you) before the imbalance cripples you by dealing a blow to your vulnerabilities (back of ankle/achilles heel), destablizing you. It could be suggested that this issue is something you do not, or do not want, to recognize or shed light upon (swat away light). This could be an internal or external issue, I'm not sure which, but the dream does seem to be warning about a potentially devouring feminine energy. Of course, I could be wrong about the feminine symbology of the crocodile in which case I would shift the meaning to issues with masculine energy. How is the relationship with your mother? With your father? Does any of this mean anything to you? IP: Logged |

Wow, this is SOOO true! But the negative feminine energy is the part I'm not familiar with but this could be possible. My relationship with my mother is somewhat average, we get along or "make-do" but she blames me for alot of things my dad does. I have alot of resentment towards her. She pretty much does everything he says, my dad's a good guy but I just wish my mother had more of a backbone when it comes too him. I've been trying all my life too never be like her in my relationships, which has led too guys saying I'm too aggressive or I get angry quickly. IP: Logged |

Hi Loving Ra's take Can I ask you if things in your household are mostly determined by your dad? So is your family actually living according to his life views? You say you drive through this neighbourhood a lot (something you are familiar with). Can you tell me a little bit more about it? What does it remind you of? Is it old or new or...? The bite may learn you about these primal female powers and how you can use them for yourself, putting your essence in the world. But this may be fearful (as Ra also describes). If you tune into the crocodile energy you will find more balance. Because right now you are not in your own self yet (dad is driving, grandpa's house), but after all you are just in your late teens Also the crocs are pets? What is your view of women in society in general? Is it okay to go after what you want? Or just till a certain extent? Hope this helps you some more Edit: just saw you already said you wished your mum had more backbone. So your dad does run the show? But if I look at the dream that's similar for you. Again, working with the crocodile will help you balance IP: Logged |

Yes, my dad is very much the head of the household and "in charge" so to speak. Even though my mother is in the military when she comes home it's like she turns into a completely different person around my dad. She's completely submissive. And the neighborhood seems very familiar, like my childhood neighborhood which might I add, was the only good part of my childhood. Also, yes, the crocodiles were pets of my "grandfather". I think women should have the same rights as men, but some women let their husbands or males that influence them stop them or kill their dreams all because they think they need a man or because they "love" them or have been with them for a long time. And how can I exactly tune in with the crocodile? I was very much afraid of it in my dream because it was so aggressive and hostile. IP: Logged |

Hi I actually assumed your dad was driving through the neighbourhood and with the car. Is that correct? Lol, yes, tune into croc energy sounds a bit mystic. I just meant that when you realise how these patterns work within your family (and therefore also within you), it will be easier to come into your own person & power. The dream to me exists of all aspects of yourself. So it's not just about mum or dad in the dream. It's about you and your belief systems. Because you are also following your father's lead. The fact that you are afraid of the crocodile tells me you are most likely not comfortable with expressing your own feminine side irl. Animals always represent our instincts, behaviours and emotions. The croc is known for being aggressive, but also to point out what lies beneath the surface (old, hidden emotions). Just think of how they wait in the water for their preys. So if the croc is you, you do stand up & lash out about what you think is right. But the control is still with the paternal side of the family. What do you know about your grandfather? How do you see him? What do you think of crocodiles generally? How do you feel about them? Bye IP: Logged |
