Hello all! it's my first time posting in this section of the website!

I have always found it very fascinating that people often dream about the deceased in the family. About 2 years ago, my grandmother passed away and soon after my mom, aunt and myself dreamt about her almost at the same time. I especially found the three dreams I had of her three nights in a row shocking. In each dream, she transformed from the younger looking version to how she looked when she passed. She also appeared happier in each transforming dream.

Another story relevant to this topic is when my grandfather passed, my aunt would keep dreaming of him being in shabby clothes, his hair all frizzed and he told her that he's staying at a very cold place and needed her to send him some new clothes. Sooo, in our tradition, we are supposed to burn "fake money and clothes" to the deceased ones after their death and on their death date annually. so that's what she did after she had the dream. Ever since that, she had a few dreams of him but in much better condition and appeared happy.

I am curious as to how many of you have had the similar experiences after a loved one passed?

Hello bethbabe

I dreamt of my father a great deal for many months after he passed. Some were just dreams and some were visits. In the "just dreams" he was often in some odd or different state of being or appearance, while in the visits he was usually just himself as he always was.

Through it all, it wasn't him that changed(regardless of his appearance), it was me. My initial reactions to his appearance were sorrowful and sobbing and I would simply embrace him like I did when I was a child. Gradually, the sorrow lifted and eventually the interactions were happy and accepting.

I later realized that the "just dreams" were reflective of my own psychological healing and had little to do with whatever state he appeared to be in. The visits had a completely different feel/energy and served to facilitate the transformation I was undergoing.

At the time it all just felt like a jumble of emotions, but in retrospect there appears to be a definite purpose and method to the madness.

Thanks Dad!

Hii Ra! thank you so much for sharing your story! Yes, I think all these dreams are reflections of ourselves.

Hi bethbabe yay!!!

Even though I've been at LL for a year, I've only now begun to explore and do my first posts here in the Astral Realms as well!

Maybe? astrologically with all the action in the Zodiac right now, maybe some of us with important aspects or house cusps belonging in these realms are being nudged or stimulated... Like the times when you're dreaming-- ever notice how the mind and consciousness will 'adapt' the outer cues in your (bedroom) environment and 'make' them a part of that dream.... ?

Please! BE CLEAR: I am NOT a trained astrologer AT ALL!!

(Please, note that the things I say may be in error... Best to consult a Professional, okay?) I speak from a point of having "absorbed" a lot of what I've been exposed to by those professionals. I am NOT a "schooled" person....

Our Dreams (nightvisions and dayvisions) are being highlighted by astrology in the sky right now. Cancer (is our sense of "home" and shell, sense of safety in community, preserved ritual traditions passed down through generations, dreams prayers and memory stuffed into the little hidden cranies in the rocks formations by the big seas of the collective); Scorpio (our intensity and passions, our longings and depths, our secret buried hidden resources protected by stinger if any approach is made-- even if it's stinging our own unseen backside by accident but we don't realize it... like when a dog chases his own tail and bites without realizing it's 'his own' further-reaches he chases... it actually already 'belongs' to him); Pisces (our dream spirit, The Christ One, The Things that are Above, The Things in the Open that are held Secret until we use the QUESTion to open 'what is there and has been there' all the while you were longing for the ineffable 'what is it').

WATER. Fluid. Amniotic fluid. BirthingWorld.

Marina Partridge has a site called Darkstar Astrology. She's talked about the Southern Cross in the sky. (Lunar Eclipse April 2013, see article). Lunar Eclipse for Humanity. (And I am really certain that there are other sites that talk about this too.... The ones I mention are the free sites... So sorry, I feel really tired right now and fuzzy. Site called Lunar Planner had info that I saw way far ago...I don't know if they charge money to access now or not... but there was cool info there.)

The impression (of my own) is that we are visiting realms where the living and the not-living can with inner-sight and peripheral mind-vision SEE and receive impressions that are left there, as though through a fuzzy 2-way mirror. (This is me, talking my non-sense--- not 'knowing' what I'm 'talking' about, not wanting others to be 'mislead'... these are just 'what is' for me, lately. The transits for me have been heavy and sad yet illuminating and real... like, hard-cold real.)

Please forgive my wanderings, my wonderings. Take them all with good skepticism, healthy skepticism. Use as a "prompt" for your OWN thoughts, rather than 'take' my word literally... please. "BE" your 'own' person... and don't let anyone TELL you who you are.... "Discover" for your own self. There are BAD people everywhere--- hanging out with the good, and waiting to "pounce" on the innocent to "use" them. DISCERNMENT is critical at these moments right now.... The moments where we want to find our dreams and Sail upon those seas...... Please, be careful of ones who would 'take advantage' of your youth or new-interest curiousities. Sometimes we can't help letting in what could amount to harmful influences when we open our innocent minds up for the first-looks.

ANYWAY.... Just wanted to also leave link to Bby_Scorpio's thread... "Frequent Dreams of my grandmother" www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum15/HTML/003119.html
