Fruits keep appearing in my dreams. Does anyone know what different kinds of fruit symbolize?

Last night I dreamed I was in an unfamilar house (at least in my waking state)...in my dream world, I'm pretty sure it wasn't mine...but kinda seemed like it.

At first I noticed to dogs and a cat. I had no familarity with these animals, but somehow I instinctively knew they haven't been fed. I looked around the kitchen. There was a cat bowl..with old spoiled pieces of cat food and not much of it. There was a sliced red Apple on the floor. A peeled bannana growing spoiled, a half sliced pear, and one hot dog link on the table. I worried there wasn't enough for them. And they probably wouldn't eat the fruit. Then a third dog appeared. It was a very dark golden lab, with sad puppy eyes and ears. I took him/her for a female and felt very sympathetic for her. I thought about how and if I would feed them, but didn't actually dream of doing so.

Then the dream took some very weird, unrelated, turn of events that's hard to put into words.

Any ideas on the food and animals? In the last couple months I've had other dreams featuring bannana shopping, maybe a whole coconut...or some other more exoctic fruit, smashed pieces of watermelon....and probably some other fruits I can't remember.

Hello Eyes

In the case of the main dream, the fruits and other foods generally represent various potentially nourishing energies. The animals symbolize aspects of yourself. The dream suggests that you are not nourishing yourself with appropriate, suitable, or sufficient energies. You are not getting what you need.

As far as the other dreams, both bananas and coconuts can have phallic or sexual connotations. How is the relationship? Are you "satisfied"?

"Other more exotic fruit" suggests the search for something different (including, but not necessarily, a relationship). Are you looking for something different in your life? A different energy/possibility?

What do you think?

Hi Ra! I just read your response, that actually sounds like a very close and accurate interpration thank you!! I am often searching for new energy and feeling unsatisfied in one aspect of my life. I hope I can change that someday.
