I had a dream the other night about walking somewhere in a town or something during evening time. I stopped a bit to look at something and was approached from behind. I remembered the arms coming around me and hugging closely. I felt very comfortable.

When I turned around to say something to this person, it turned out to be this tall Korean man in his 20s who was very handsome. I felt like I've seen him before and that he was famous. He was wearing a bronze colored top hat.

Not much happened in that segment of the dream, but it sticks out to me. I feel like I should know that man. What do you think this dream means?

Not sure about a stranger hugging you, but in my case, it represented a real life incident where this person still cares for me, and her thoughts towards me were transferred to me thru my dreams, as corroborated by those dream dictionaries.

The man you encountered is your inner male/animus. He is there to help you act out in the world and support you (hugging). You most likely haven't been that familiar with his presence (Korean - other ethnicity). You most likely have been working on manifesting/taking actual steps irl for some time. The man is tall and famous already. He is giving you more strength to take actions for yourself.
