The other night I had this dream I was a hermaphrodite and working as a holy prostitute, so to speak. I was alone in a room with a man, and we did it. After he left, a woman came in and I did it with her. I woke up afterwards, and I don't remember anything else in this particular dream. Some help please?------------------

Can you remember how you felt in your dream?You are certainly trying to integrate different parts of yourself.
Depending on other details and how you felt about this, it can relate to being balanced or trying to gain that balance.
On the other hand there seems to be some confusion about your own roles. Are you a man? Are you a woman? Do you adjust too much depending on the demands of others? Losing your own identity at times?
I'm more inclined to look at it this way, because you are a prostitute in your dream. Acting upon the wishing of others, even though you are a holy prostitue (divine purpose). Do you give in a lot? Play nice? Because you feel you should be and act upon the higher version of yourself?
Is this how you act at work? Your real life job? Just some thoughts  Hope they resonate. IP: Logged |

XD lol! mmm... I remember feeling like I was doing this out of duty. In reality, I am trying to be more assertive. I'm a male, and I'm bi, if that changes anything. I'm also really feminine, but a bit too passive. More often than not, even though I try not to be, I can be a people-pleaser at times. I feel hypocritical because other people-pleasers really get on my nerves. Thanks for the interpretation, I never really thought of it like that. ^_^' I'm thinking it might have something to do with another dream I had.------------------

Ehmm... That you are bi kinda does matter  Hence the Hermaphrodite
That might be your personal dream symbolism Also you seem to be working on integrating the two sides into you.

both actually. in the dream, I felt I was working in the temple out of duty, but in reality, people have told me I'm too passive.------------------

Okay, I think partly it refers to that. You feel you should work on it, because other told you to do so. Do you really agree with it or were you kind of fine with being more feminine in your approach
For what it's worth, the balancing seems to be working, but it doesn't feel like you enjoy it much (duty). The holy still refers to the feeling that it is for "the greater good". (like: okay - sigh- they may have a point -sigh-. Let's get on with this then. -sigh, sigh, sigh-) IP: Logged |

sorry, but when I read that last part, I couldn't help but laugh. back on track though, it kind of feels like that. While I know other people have a point and put up with it anyways, I can't help but feel as though I did not come into this lifetime to be assertive. I don't know if it makes sense to you guys, but that's how I feel it is. ^_^------------------
