Topic: just images like a painting

My dream started like a Monet painting. The scene was still but you could see the wind move through it. Up close to the right bottom corner was a woman dressed in a white ceremonal dress with a veil over her head (I couldn't see her face). A few yards behind her by a pond or lake was a wolf. It seemed peaceful.The next part I remember is is overlooking this highway bridge near my house. Except on the other side of the bridge was a large park. I watched my boyfriend bycling in that area with a smile on his face. And the next thing I knew the park was crowded with people. The weird thing about this dream to me is I seemed to be more of an observer than a participant. And I'm not really sure what the woman and wolf indicate in this context. Anyone? IP: Logged |

Ha, thank you both!! I actually had another piece of symbolism in a different dream. that I'm curious about. I was holding a wishbone in my hand and broke part of it. Only the "wishbone" seemed to be made out of wood and the centerpart had a brown feather attached (the piece I broke). I've read on LL that you can break soul ties in your dreams and wondering if this might be symbolic of that?
During the part of the dream a person from my past was present in it and I believe we might of had a soul tie. Thank you all for your help!! IP: Logged |

Not sure about the wishbone, but you could be right. I'll think about it.As for the "painting" dream ... The woman is probably yourself. In your "picture perfect" world, could there be some possibility of a threat or disruption (wolf) to your peace or growth (white ceremonial dress) lurking in the background, unseen (veil)? Has there been a change or transition (bridge) in the relationship with your boyfriend? Are you feeling "crowded out"? Or maybe it has become more "public"? How did you feel about the park being crowded with people? What do you think?

Thanks Ra. The woman and the wolf sound like an accurate interpration. Though, the wolf didn't quite seem threating. It was definately an interting image to me though, an again that would make sense. Since I worry too much about worst case scenarios. How did I feel about it be crowded? Initially just confused. Because that area is nothing like it was in my dream. I don't recall having posirive or negative views about it. But, your explaination makes sense. We're not a very public couple, and recently I have been desiring that a little more. His venus and mars are in my 10 house in synastry (public life). And normally such things wouldn't concern me. Your response helped, thank you IP: Logged |

I had a similar dream once. I was in some sort of home looking out to a beautiful painted field. There were three people dressed in black with gloom. I ran from there into a field to a brick wall & jumped it. I looked back to the beautiful field of pinks and purples oranges; and I could see the people in black.IP: Logged |
