Hello all! First time poster!!
Let me start by saying I dream in full color all the time and I have very vivid, real life dreams ( if that makes sense)
I can't remember much of my dream from last night cause I have been fixated on this one part. Here it is:
My husband was working by the water, he was walking on a pier or dock beside these huge massive rocks. I was there I guess as I was seeing this through my eyes not just dreaming of him. It was like I was there as me not as a person I was dreaming about. So as he is walking we come across this green fish fin stuck between 2 of the rocks. Somehow my husband was able to free the fish fin from the rock, but up floated a mermaid face down in the water. I never seen her face all I seen was she had long blonde hair and her tail was shimmery green.
After that I woke up. I've read things about mermaid in dreams but can't find anything about a dead mermaid. Also I might add that I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child incase that might have something to do with it.

Hello Bjnorvell, welcome.  A mermaid represents a merge between your conscious (human half) and unconscious (animal half) self/aspects. Perhaps she is dead because there has been a recent failure to recognize, acknowledge, or attend to (didn't see face) the emergence of unconscious aspects of self. I'm not quite sure how to relate this to your waking life. Have you been ignoring something within yourself? Has a previously unknown aspect of yourself recently emerged which you have denied or failed to recognize/acknowledge?  IP: Logged | |
